Am I Dreaming? (Bajan Canadian ff)

Nightmare? -Chapter 13-

(Mitch's POV)

I was swimming in the water or in the ocean. It was sunset and it reminded me of my first date with Maddie. I missed holding her. I missed her soft hair, dark blue eyes... her lips. I really messed up this time. At least we were still friends. Maddie was swimming with me. Man she was skinny. She splashed me and I made a big splash back. We laughed and kept splashing each other. "That's it" I said jokingly and started tickling her. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AHHHH STAHP STAHP STAHP!!! THAT TICKLES!" She was laughing hysterically but then I heard a inhuman noise from her. She snorted... "Hahha did you just snort?!" "No" she said sarcastically. "Want to go out farther?" I asked. She nodded. "Let's see who can go farthest!" "Ok" We kept swimming farther and farther away from the shore. "I can't go anymore" She said stopping in place. "I win" We just swam in the cool water watching the sun go to sleep and the moon awakening. Just then Maddie was pulled under the water screaming! "Mitch HELP" I tried to get to get but then I was pulled under the water to. I couldn't see anything! All I could see was pitch black. I tried looking for Maddie with my hands but found nothing. I was scared and panicked. I was kicking trying to get up from the now freezing water but someone was holding my ankle. I looked down and saw... myself holding me down. Then I saw Maddie floating to the bottom of the ocean. I was loosing her because of myself.

Then I woke up----------------
