Old Wounds: Fem Percy x Nightwing Fanfic

Anthony's POV

I really can't believe it.  They banished her!!!!  They really banish her and expect her to stay loyal to them??!!!!!! It makes no sense!!! I loved her once.  But now she's like my sister! Granted I didn't protest when they banished her, but Zeus would've killed her otherwise! At least she can start a new life. I groaned, flopping down on my cabin bed. I covered my face with my hands. She was actually gone. We had all really betrayed her. Now it might seem her reaction was kinda dramatic. The truth was, it wasn't. Percy has been through so much in her life. She'd always face it with sarcasm and idiotic bravery. But she trusted her friends to the end of the earths. Our betrayal. Our inaction. That may have just caused us to lose Olympus's greatest hero. Now THAT is saying something if I'm saying that. Hubris is not a good fatal flaw, but personal loyalty is looking a lot worse right now. I clenched my fists. We were her friends. We all hurt her. Oh Seaweed Brain. What have we done? I only wished I could apologize. For everything. I let a slient tear run down my face.

"You thinking about her?" Reyna asked.

I looked up. My beautiful Pratetor elegantly composed upon the doorframe of the Athena cabin.

"Yeah." I admitted.

Reyna's gaze softened. She walked over and sat down on my bed. I laid my head down on her lap.

"She was a brave warrior. A hero through and through. She didn't deserve banishment, or any of this." The daughter of Bellona ranted.

I smiled. She was right. Like always.

"Sounds like someone has a crush." I teased.

She looked me sternly in the eye.

"Now now Anthony. I'm getting MARRIED to you remember? And I wouldn't have it any other way." She said.

I just sighed.

"Still down?" She asked.

I didn't respond. She suddenly stood up - causing my body to slide off the bed. I groaned quietly. I rubbed my back. The injuries still ached from the war. Reyna helped me up.

"We'll find her Anthony. The gods may have banished her. But they didn't forbid us from visiting her." Reyna said.

I brightened up instantly.

"You're so smart. You should be called Wise Girl. But sadly, I'm called Wise Guy so the name already taken." I remarked.

Reyna rolled her eyes. She grabbed my shirt and pulled me out of my cabin.

"Time to go Percy-hunting." She said.

"Could you have said that anymore weirdly?" I mocked.

She looked at me annoyed.

"You want to find her right? So where could she be? You were the closest to her besides Grover. But he's not talking to anyone right now. Nature is really mad right now too. Just goes to show now might not be a good time to talk to the Lord of the Wild." She said.

I nodded in agreement. I had let her lead me to Canoe lake. We both sat down on the soft sand. I plunged deep into my memories, hoping to find any mention of a place where she would go. Nothing is what I came up with. She didn't like to talk to much about her past. The only thing I can think of is when she was in the Argo II. She was looking longingly at a city. I don't know what it's name is, or what it looked like. But I just knew it hit close to home for her.

"Well. There was this one city she looked really longingly at on the Argo. But I don't know the name, the country, or what it looks like." I answered.

Reyna groaned. We were getting nowhere. There were millions of cities out there. And there's no guarantee that she's even in a city!! Then, out of nowhere, a IM appears. It looks like it's Thaila. She looked worried, and sleep-deprived.

"You guys better get here quick. I'm on Olympus. And warning, you're not going to like what you're going to hear." Thaila said.

Reyna and I looked at each other - having a slient converstation. Whatever is happening, it can't be good.

Timeskip

The Olympians were debating LOUDLY. It was absolutely horrific. Death/War threats, weapons, and MUCH more. To say the least, it was bad. Reyna and I walked over to the seven (minus Percy) Thaila, Chiron, and Nico.

"What's going on here?" I whispered-said to Thaila.

"It's about Percy. The need her for another war." She responded.

My heart dropped. Percy's lucky to be sane as it is. Add another war, she might go ballistic. Oh Percy. You really do have the worst luck in history.

"SLIENCE!!!!!!!" Zeus boomed.

Power just seethed off of him. Everyone seemed to get the hint. The room quieted instantly.

"Percy's services required once more. She will fight for us, then she will resume her banishment until further notice. This is the war mentioned in Trial of Apollo, well it isn't actually mentioned.  But it's coming up soon.

Everyone was about to protest.  But then thought better of it at Zeus's glare.

Great.  Well Percy, I hope you had a nice vacation.

Hey guys!  I just wrote this out of nowhere.  But now this is getting somewhere I guess.  I promise I'll update soon.  But It's late here and I'm beat.  Oh and the next POV is probably gonna be Damian's so get ready for Percy to dodge some ninja-stars.  Till then, be on your toes.  Oh and hopefully I'll update tomorrow.  And I have a new goal on chapters.  I'm going to aim for 48 a little more a little less give or take chapters.  I know, a lot right.  I'm gonna try though.  Bye for now!
