"We've got a 10-28, I repeat we've got a 10-28 in Midvale", FP jumped up from the couch when he heard his police radio go off.

Betty and Jughead were sitting at the dining room table when they saw FP shoot up from the couch, "What, What's going on??", Jughead looked at his dad, waiting for an answer.

"They found her, they found Alice", FP snatched his radio from the coffee table and quickly grabbed his sheriff's hat from the coat hanger, Betty and Jughead quickly followed suit.

It took an hour and a half to get to the small town of Midvale, just north of Riverdale. FP drove as fast as he could, parking the Sheriff cruiser as soon as he saw other police cars parked next to a building fairly similar to the Sisters of Quiet Mercy.

He got out of the car, as did Betty and Jughead.

He frantically searched for Alice in the sea of Farmies, before locking eyes with the blonde hair blue eyed woman.

She was talking to a man in a black suit, FP assumed it was someone from Charles' FBI team.

"Alice!", he called out before quickly walking towards her, and she did the same.

"Mom!", Betty looked to see her mother running towards them.

Once FP and Alice reached each other, FP pulled her into a heartfelt embrace. Pulling away only seconds later to press a deep and meaningful kiss to Alice's lips. She cupped his face and FP pulled her as close to him as he could, he couldn't be happier to see her.

Betty and Jughead awkwardly looked on, they weren't used to seeing their parents like this.

Alice pulled away slowly, looking into FP's eyes before walking over to Betty and hugging her.

"I'll explain everything on the way back to Riverdale, okay?" she said softly to her daughter, Betty nodding in response.

"I love you mom, I'm sorry for everything", Betty felt a tear fall down her cheek.

"No no honey, you did nothing wrong, I'm sorry", she looked at her and wiped a tear from her face.

On the way back to Riverdale, Alice explained that Edgar and Evelyn had moved them to Midvale to do the same thing they did in Riverdale. As Alice got increasingly closer to Edgar, Evelyn made sure to keep Alice at a watchful eye at all times, which meant she could hardly find the means to escape. She ended up getting lucky today and found a payphone nearby, calling 911 as quickly as she could.

Before they reached Riverdale, Jughead and Betty had fallen asleep in the back of the car, leaving Alice and FP to finally be able to talk by themselves.

"I'll order us a pizza when we get back to the house", FP put his hand in hers, he knew they had a lot to talk about before anything got back to the way things were, but he couldn't help himself from wanting to be close to her and Alice luckily felt the same.

"Actually, I want to cook tonight, it's been so long since I've made anything and you guys deserve an actual home cooked meal", Alice smiled at FP.

FP scoffed, "I make home cooked meals."

"Hamburgers and hot dogs don't really count, but nice try", she squeezed his hand.

"Fine, if that's what you want to do,'' he smiled at her.

FP helped Alice bring the plates and food out to the dining room table when it was ready, calling Jughead, Betty, and Jelly Bean down for dinner. It was a surreal feeling for Alice to be calling their kids down for dinner together, and she couldn't help but love it.

Once they started eating together, the table fell silent with everyone stuffing their faces. It was their first dinner together all living under the same roof and to say the least, it was weird.

After a few minutes, FP broke the silence.

"So um, sleeping arrangements will stay the same, except Alice gets her old room back and I'm taking the couch", he nodded and Alice nodded in agreement.

Jughead looked at Alice and then FP, shoveling another spoonful of mashed potatoes into his mouth. "You can just tell us you're sleeping together, we're not stupid."

Alice almost spat out her drink, and Betty hit Jughead's arm, "What the hell Jug?"

"What? Are we just supposed to pretend like we didn't see them making out like an hour ago?"

Jelly Bean was confused, she didn't know anything about FP and Alice's past.

"Yeah that was kind of the plan", Betty gave Jughead a death glare before looking at her mom. "Since we're on the subject, if you guys are doing...whatever, please no more kids, I love Charles but I don't need anymore shared siblings with Jug."

Alice face was turning red, "Elizabeth, can we please change the subject?"

"Wait, Charles the FBI guy is our brother?", Jelly Bean chimed in after listening to their conversation.

Alice looked at FP with a shocked expression, "You didn't tell her?"

"I was going to wait until you were here", he turned to JB, "Yes, Charles is mine and Alice's son so he's your half brother."

"How? You and mom have been married since you guys were like 18 right?", Jelly Bean was trying to make sense of all of this.

Alice and FP looked at each other, trying to think of a way to explain this to an 11 year old.

"Well, we um, sometimes surprises happen before you get married", Alice looked at JB, trying to keep it vague but hopefully she understood.

"So my dad knocked you up in high school, got it", Jelly Bean nodded. "Wait, does this make Betty mine and Jughead's sister?"

"NO!", Betty and Jughead quickly responded.

Everybody went quiet again until FP broke the silence again.

"Dinner was delicious, Alice,'' he smiled at her and she reciprocated.

"It's nice to cook for a table full of people again,'' FP put his hand on top of hers.

Betty and Jughead looked at each other, this was going to take some getting used to.

Later that evening, after they all cleaned up the dishes from dinner, Alice went upstairs to her old room. She looked around, it looked so much different than when she left it. The closet was no longer filled with her pastel blouses and dresses, instead it was covered in flannels and work boots and his Sheriff's uniform.

"Don't worry, I'll move my stuff to the other closet", FP came up behind her, noticing she was staring at the closet.
"No, I love it, I love that we're doing this,'' she turned to look at him and she pecked his lips. "It's an odd circumstance, but, when have our lives ever been normal?"

He smiled and kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her. "Dinner was...interesting."

"Hopefully it gets better from here, I wanted to die from embarrassment, Jelly Bean knows a lot more at 11 than what Polly and Betty knew."

"Yeah, I guess that comes from her living with her mom for the past 3 years, Gladys was never one to sugar coat anything."

Alice nodded and paused for a moment, "You think we can make this work? Our families living together?"

FP guided her to the bed and sat down on the edge, Alice doing the same.

"I think so, yeah", he pushed a piece of hair out of her face. "We've been through hell and back Alice, I think it's finally time things work in our favor."

Alice smiled, "I think so too."
