"Good morning, glad to see all of you awake."
The children's eyes suddenly open in horror. They observe their surroundings in confusion of where they are located at. "Would you like to play a game?" Everyone was wondering where the noise seemed to be coming from as a huge screen started coming down slowly. It showed a black figure, more like a shadow. No one could make out his face. "What the fuck?! Let us out!" A short kid spoke up "Where are we?? And what the heck is on our necks?" Another one said Each individual seemed to have a contraption on their neck all the way to their heads. "Let me explain. If a single wire is let loose in this head contraption, the spiky contraption will close and completely crush your skull." "..harsh..." "Indeed. Now, I'm going to activate your contraption and let the reverse bear trap swallow your head." The children suddenly panicked, they were in shock at the sudden news. Some of them were so terrified they could barely move and some of them were so enraged that they'd have to die this young. "Why?! Why do this to us?? What have we ever done to you?!" One of them stuttered out. "I hold a grudge for humanity. It pleases me to see humans die. But I will spare two of you at the end. Fight hard to survive, you worms. I will give you directions. Follow them if you want to survive." Their ears were open for instructions, their adrenaline high. "Each if you will have to find a key and unlock your contraptions. But all 10 keys are mixed up. You have 1 minute to find your key. You all will have to put your friendships aside for this trial." Dani looked to JC, while he looked at David. David looked to Kaylin while she looked at Kyla. Kyla glances at Angie, but she was looking at Aiden. He was looking at AJ who was looking at Christian, who looked at Dani. Matthew just looked down. They all felt guilt. They were gonna go against each other. "Three.." "Two.." "One." They all raced forward to the table that had ten keys on it. Jc grabbed one and with great luck he saved himself first try. Kyla and Kaylin seemed to have each other's keys. AJ and Angie were greedily taking all of the keys the others had tossed and saved themselves. Dani and Matthew finally after many tries got the key to their contraptions. It was only David Christian and Aiden left, but the clock was ticking. 10 seconds left. The ones who saved themselves early were staring at the three, dreadfully watching the three trying to figure out which key is which. "3..." David got the key to work. "2..." Christian quickly tossed the key to Aiden, though throwing it a bit too far as Aiden raced after it. Christian saved himself. "1." "NO!" Aidens contraption closed on his head. His friend stared in horror, some covered their eyes, and some cried. *Aiden has been eliminated* . . . "You have five seconds to go through the door." _________________________________
Authors note: It's kind of a Jigsaw/Hunger games based. Man I felt so sad whenever the wheel spun to Aiden. I know I could change this since it's my story, but no. If the wheel says you die, you die. This is short, sorry! I didn't feel like going into major amounts of details, but I will next chapter hopefully.
