More Than A Friend {Furry Boy×Boy}

The Move

I wake up from the worst sleep I've ever had. With my head pounding and covering my mouth as I start yawning, I hear a shout from downstairs, my mother. "Axle if your not out of bed, I'm going without you!". Realising why she had woken me up I got out of bed in no particular hurry and I grab my clothes from a pile of clothes on the floor. I look in the mirror and nearly yell. "Damn, I look like death, geez!" I say to myself as I rub my eyes trying to look awake. Putting on my favourite red t-shirt and some shorts making sure my tail wasn't caught in them I check the mirror before walking out. I looked decent enough for today.

Exiting my room, I walk down the stairs meeting my mother at the bottom of them hugging her, "Morning " I say "Oh, look who's finally up, my little German Shepherd pup" she laughs pinching my cheeks. "I'm 18, I'm hardly what you could call a pup" I smile at her, walking to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Grabbing some bread, I throw it in the toaster and wait for it to pop out, pulling out my phone to check the time. 7:48am. "Geez this early?" I mutter to myself as I hear the click of the toaster and grabs the toast and a spare plate from last night and starts to butter it. "Don't use it all axle I want some too!" I hear my mother tell from the table. "I know but I'm starving and we'll grab something on the way won't we?" I plead giving her a slice "Of course we are, can't have my lil' pup going hungry on his first day at college, can we now?" she laughs and starts to eat. Brrtzz.

I look down at my phone and pick it up, unlocking it and seeing a call from my friend. "Hey, I'll be in my room, it's Kyle" I say as I walk up to my room closing the door and answering. We ask how each other is doing and he asks when I'm coming over. "Kyle I've said this sooo many times already man, 10am the moving van is coming then we'll be over by 12am". I laugh at his snarky comment on my laziness and I say goodbye and walk back down with my boxes from upstairs.

After moving all the boxes downstairs near the front door a van appears outside and we open up and start to load up the van. Both me and my mother walk around the empty house and remeber all the memories that were created. "I love you mother" as I hug her. She exchanges the comment and we head for the car. She locks up and finishes off the last checks and we set off for our new house. I couldn't wait.
