Chapter 3: Dinner

I go home, recurl my hair and then change into the red strapless dress that Ezra bought me. I run downstairs and say "I'm ready." We walk to the car and drive to the grill. We get to the grill and I see Spencer, Toby, Mellisa, Wren, Mr. and Mrs. Hastings, Hanna, Caleb, Mrs. Marin, Emily, Paige and Mrs. Fields. I sit next to an empty chair waiting for Ezra to come. I'm talking to the girls and then Mellisa asks "What is Mr. Fitz doing here?" I turn around and see ezra and he looks HOT! "Hey babe" Ezra says before he kisses me. "Hey" I reply as he sits down. "Are you two dating?" Wren asks. "Yes we are." Ezra says while he kisses me on the cheek. I plush a little. "They are the cutest couple" Paige says. "Thanks" I say. Then I grab Ezra's hand. We order our food and then we continue to talk and laugh. Then all of a suden Mrs. Hastings asks "How long have you two been together?" "Well we met before school started and then when I found out I was her teacher we didn't date. I decided that I needed to fight for what I love. That was a couple weeks after school started. So, we've been dating about 8 1/2 months." Ezra said smiling. Then he kisses me on the cheek. "Aren't they the cutest!" Emily says. "They are a pretty cute couple." Hanna says. "We are definantly not the cutest couple." I say. "Em you and Paige are really cute together" I say. A couple minutes later our food comes. I ordered pesto pasta and Ezra ordered salmon. We all start eatting and I ask Ezra for a bite of his salmon. I tried it and I fell in love with it. "This is the best salon i've ever had!" I yell. I end up eatting half of Ezra's salmon. Aria honey, you know that you ate like half of ezra's salmon." My mom says. I look at Ezra's plate and i notice that i did. "Oh my gosh Ezra! I didn't mean to do that! I'm so sorry!" I yell. "It's ok, as long as you are happy I"m good." Ezra says. "Aw thats adorible." Paige says. "It really isn't." I say laughing. "Mr. Fitz that was a little cheesy." Spencer says. We all laugh. "First of all that was not cheesy, and secondly, call me Ezra" He says. "Is Fitzy getting mad?" Hanna says sarcastically. "Stop calling me Fitzy!" Ezra yells. Everyone at the table looks at him. "Now Fitzy's mad." Hanna says. "Stop bulling my boyfriend." I say calmly. Then I hold Ezra's hand to calm him down. Then we order dessert. I order the chocolate pie to split with Ezra. The pie comes and we eat it quickly. Then my mom looks at Ezra and mouths now. Then I feel Ezra hold my hands and then he pulls me about 5 feet away from the table. Then he says "Aria, I've loved you since the moment I met you in the bar. It might just be me but I think we were meant for each other. You are the prettiest, smartest and sweetest person i've ever met. I know we've been through a lot trying to make this relationship work." He gets on one knee. "Will you do the honor of becoming Mrs. Fitz?" I start to cry. "of course I will!" I say crying. "This is so cute!" Paige says. "Let me see the ring." Emily says. "Nice ring Mr. Fitz." Spencer says. "Congratulations" Mrs. Hastings says. "Thank you" I day back to her. "mom, dad, can I spend the night at Ezra's tonight?" I ask. "of course you can" my mom says with a big smile on her face. I stand up and pull on Ezra's tie signaling him to get up, and I run out of the door with him chasing me. "they are such kids" my mom says. Two minutes later I run back into the restaurant, put $20 on the table say goodnight and thank you to everyone then skip out of the door. Ezra drive back to his apartment.
