While in between shows that day Mac went to Waffle House for the first time with one of his friends from the band The Internet. He got the steak and a waffle on the side because you've got to have a waffle from Waffle House. His friend got a number of items but amongst those things he ordered grits with American cheese on top. Mac surveyed the crowd to see if there were those of us who ate their grits in the same manner. Then he asked if it was good to add sugar on top and mix the ingredients together. Everyone disagreed and he said that he would have to try it sometime even if it might give him the shits.
