Chapter One

Sophie's POV

I woke up like every other morning. It seemed to be a normal day. I got up and showered and brushed messed up hair. As I walked out of my bathroom with a towel around me and went to pick out clothes I noticed my window was open slightly and I remember it being closed. I walked over to see no one by it and I closed it. I than went to pick out my outfit for the day. I choose a grey tunic and black pants. As I grabbed my clothes and headed for the bathroom I trip over someone's foot. I end up falling face first onto my floor and I hear them break out into a fit of laughter. When I get up I look over to see Keefe on my floor clutching his stomach and heaving due to his fit of laughter prior. I make sure the towel I had wrapped around me is still tightly secured and look over at him. "Oh hey Foster. How was your trip?" He starts to laugh again at his horrible joke. I just giggle slightly at him and shake my head and walk to get dressed while letting him get himself together. After, I put my clothes on and walked out with my hair nicely brushed Keefe is sitting on my bed. "Well hello Keefe," I say and walk to put my dirty clothes somewhere. "Hey Foster. What are your plans for the day?" He asks as I walk over to my bed. "I was probably gonna go hangout with Biana. How about you?" I ask laying back on my bed. "Probably gonna go and find a girl to bother," He said casually. Keefe was the type of boy you would consider a player. He would flirt and kiss a girl and than never talk to her again. Lucky for me I've never been one of those girls. I'm not gonna lie I did get a slight jealous feeling when he would talk about the girl he was gonna go see, but I always covered it up hoping he didn't sense it. "Well I feel sorry for her," I said rolling over to face him. "I wouldn't. She gets to spend the day with me," he winked and sat up. "I'll see you tomorrow?" He said, but it came out as more of a question. "I don't know depends if you'll be with your girl toy," I said and sat up walking over to my door. "Nah I'll come by tomorrow. Well bye Foster," Keefe said as he walked out my door. I closed my door and fell onto my bed. I really wish I would have relieved my feelings for him sooner, but I'm still confused. Sure Keefe is so cute and has a beautiful smile when he actually smiles and he is sweet and funny, but he's a player and would break my heart. I sigh to myself wishing boys weren't so difficult.

Keefe's POV
As I left Foster's house I kinda felt sad. I wish I would have asked her to hangout with me instead of saying I had girls to bother. I was known to be a player,but it wasn't ever serious stuff. I might kiss a girl here and there, but that was it nothing more. I couldn't think of ever asking a girl out on a proper date too. When I had gotten to some random city in the Lost Cities. I looked for a cute girl to bother. When I saw a girl with blonde hair I instantly thought of a brown eyes elf who I couldn't ever get out of my head. So I walked over to her. "Hey cutie. What are you doing?" She turned around to look at me and smiled. "I was just walking around. What's your name?" She asked and smiled. Her smile was pretty, but not as pretty as Sophie's. I mentally smacked myself upside my head for comparing this girl to Sophie. "Keefe. And what's yours?" I ask. "My name is..." I just space out as she is talking and wonder what Sophie and Biana are probably talking about that's if Sophie went there anyway. While the girl was talking I took that moment to actually look at her. She was shorter than me by a lot and seemed to be around the same age as me. Her blonde hair was cut pretty short and she was wearing girly stuff. Her hair was also curled. She had striking blue eyes. She was pretty, but he hair wasn't straight and she seemed to be very conceited due to how she was talking highly of herself. Her blue eyes seemed to be to common in everyone. She just seemed to blend right in with every other girl. But, if Sophie was here every guy here wouldn't be able to not look at her. She stood out in her own way and was just way prettier than every girl here. "Well nice to meet you, but I have to go," I said waving to the girl and leaving. I needed to get the brown eyed girl who I couldn't seem to not think about out of my head. So I headed off to Fitz's house to talk to him.

Sophie's POV

          When I got to Biana's house she was waiting to let me in. "Hey Sophie," She said with a smile and grabbed my hand dragging me into her extravagant house. Biana dragged me into her room. "Is Fitz here?" I ask her as I plop onto her bed. She strides over with her hairbrush and makeup. "Yeah, but Keefe is coming over to hangout with him," She said walking to sit behind me. I moved so she would be able to do my hair easier. "Wow no fight today?" She asked laughing as she started to brush my hair. "I've given up," I laughed with her. "Wait Keefe is coming here?" I asked her as she was brushing my hair. "Yeah. I also invited Linh and with her comes Tam and Dex is coming by too," I sighed and than smiled. "Oooo Tam and Dex," I said teasing her. She sighed loudly. "Oooo Keefe and Fitz in the same house," She said teasing me right back. Before I could say anything we heard a knock at the door and Linh walked in. "Hey guys," She said with a big smile and closed the door behind her. She walked over and sat right beside us. "Wanna do her makeup?" Biana asked Linh and she nodded and took the makeup and sat in front of me. "She didn't fight you today?" Linh asked and turned her head to the side. "No. I was shocked too," Biana said from behind me and Linh gasped. "Wow Sophie you have explaining to do," She said with a giggle as she started to put some makeup on me. "I'm just tired today. I woke today and showered and when I came out to get clothes Keefe was in my room," I sighed remembering my morning. Both girls started to laugh. "He was sitting on my bed after I got dressed and he than said he was gonna go and find girls to bother," I sighed letting my jealousy seep in because no one was around who could sense it. "Wow. I guess he must have moved onto a new girl," Biana said. "I thought he was messing with Yedda," Linh said. "I did too, but I guess he got tired of her. Poor girl she really thought he liked her," Biana sighed. "There's only so many girls he can keep going thought till he has gone through tall the the Lost Cities," Linh laughed. "Yeah soon he'll turn to us," Biana said with a shudder. "Hey whenever you girls want to join us come on out," one of the boys said from the outside of the door. "Let's go join them," I said and stood up. My hair looked really nice in a simple braid and Linh didn't do that much makeup on me. We all left the room making sure we didn't step on anything that could set off a prank. "Wow,"Fitz and Keefe all said at once. I looked to see what they were looking at, but I didn't have to look long because it was me.
