I honestly hoped I had heard wrong...I must have...there's no way Jeff has Jesse...she was supposed to be at school. I looked over at Amanda to see tears slowly rolling down her face. I reached out for her and she turned to me and sobbed into my shoulder. I looked at Kim but she refused to make eye contact with anybody.
Abruptly Kim stood up and walked out the room. Me and Amanda quickly followed. Amanda grabbed Kim by the back of her shirt, spun her around and shoved her against the wall. Everyone else in the precinct stood up to intervene but quickly stopped when I raised my hand indicating they need to back off.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN JEFF HAS JESSE?!!" when Kim didn't answer Amanda shoved her harder into the wall.
"He wasn't supposed to hurt her...it wasn't part of the plan...all he was supposed to do was take her somewhere...call you later on and demand a ransom for her...and then we were supposed to skip...I'm sorry Mand..."
Amanda looked like she was going to kill Kim, so I quickly intervened. I walked over to Amanda and grabbed her from behind dragging her away from Kim. Amanda kicked out until she realised it was me holding her and she started to relax.
Kim was arrested and taken into an interrogation room. I sat Amanda down in my office and started stroking her hair whispering in her ear. We had to find Jesse we just had to.
