Chapter 7

Amanda's POV

I looked back to see officer's running in, guns raised. There was no way they could shoot him without hitting Jesse. I panicked turning and screaming at the officers. "NO DON'T SHOOT" It was too late, gun shots went off, I quickly spun round, hearing Jesse gasp. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as she crashed to the floor.

I ran forward catching her before her head could hit the floor. Olivia quickly joining me. I quickly put pressure on her wound, feeling guilty when Jesse cried out. Tears started falling. "WE NEED A MEDIC NOW!" I looked to see Olivia brushing hair out of Jesse's face and whispering in her ear. I looked across the room to see Jeff being dragged out the room, I'd deal with him later right now my little girl needed me.

I looked back down to Jesse to see she had gone pale. "Hey baby, look at me and mama, you're going to be okay, just hold on" Jesse's eyes started to close and I panicked "WHERE THE HELL IS THE MEDIC!"

The room flooded with medics, quickly taking over. Olivia dragged me back and held me while the team worked on her, they quickly put her on a stretcher and went to load her onto the ambulance. Olivia decided to have me ride with Jesse and for her and the team to meet us at the hospital.

I quickly got in the back of the ambulance holding Jesse's hand the entire way. I couldn't believe this was happening. Just as the ambulance pulled up to the hospital the machine's started going crazy. The one sound I never wanted to hear was Jesse's heart beat stopping completely.

"NO JESSE!"
