Chapter 3: Meet the Twins

The elevator ride is quiet and silent going up the 23 floors with nothing to say to my Aunt Molly. It was odd seeing different people, the different sites through the elevator window. The elevator dings and signals that we have to get off.
"Cody, Cody I'm going to get you" a strange boy yells down the hallway.

I see a flash of blond hair passing by as I try to exit the elevator with my aunt. I see a second flash of blond, but this one stops to wave hello.
"Hi, i'm Zack" the second blonde boy states.
" Hi i'm Dana, Dana Bones" I stutter out.
" I've gotta get going hope to see you around" Zack says he runs off to the same direction as the first blond boy.
"Well looky here Dana you've made your first friend" my aunt states.

I shake my head and walk to her room. I see my bags outside the door it is odd. My old home we used to be able to look out the window and not see our neighbor, but in this weird city. We look outside into our neighbors yards, seeing the traffic on the streets, and hearing the sounds and sirens as they pass by it's weird. I don't like it. I'm uncomfortable. My aunt opens the door. It's nothing fancy, everything's crowded around small TV. The kitchen is smaller. I don't understand how she lives here. I don't understand how I will either. My aunt stays silent while I walk around getting a glimpse to where I'll be living for I don't know how long I'll be staying until I leave until I escape this prison. I don't have a connection with her I don't know how I'm supposed to live here and be comfortable.
Maybe it's just a dream maybe it's just a bad day. A knock interrupts my thoughts.
My opens the door and I see the blond boy from earlier except this time he has his brother.
"Hey Dana this is my brother Cody. m
Maybe we can all hang out if that's okay." Zack smiles.
And look at my aunt and all she does is nod her head.
Maybe that'll be my freedom. Maybe they'll be my friends.
