Chapter 8: Don't Tangle with Finn

I walked with Cody and Zack to the Administration office to get my schedule. We walk up to the front desk and a lady with thick rimmed glasses looks up.

"What do you want?" she growls.

"I'm Dana Bones, and I would like my class schedule for the semester ma'am" I say.

"Here's your schedule. Your locker number and combination is on it. Memorize it and that is all you need. Leave" she snarls.

We walk out with my paper in hand and the boys look to each other.

"I don't remember her being so mean when we got our schedules" Zack states.

"Maybe because she did not see you every week for your issues and assumes that Dana is gonna be like you" Cody snarks.

"Issues, it's stupid Finn who starts it and you know it" Zack says.

"Ya, ya whatever" Cody states.

"Where do I go guys?" I try to avoid the soon coming fight.

"Your lock is right next to Cody's and mine" Zack states.

Cody does the follow motion and we walk down the corridors to our assigned lockers. Our lockers are a grayish-blue and mine is to the left of Cody. I start to get my stuff together and get shoved to my locker door.

"Watch it freshie" the wild blond grumbles.

"Maybe you should watch it Blondie" I get ready for a fight.

"What did you say little girl" the idiot replies.

"You heard me you moron. Don't play dumb" I feel someone tugging on my arm trying to get me to stop.

"Moron, who uses that word anymore you dipstick" he challenges.

"I do you dick now scram" I try to assert my dominance over the bully.

"Big words from someone so small" he smirk.

"Are you talking to yourself or are you trying to get a reaction out of me because you're not that impressive" I mimic his smirk shut my locker and walk away with Zack and Cody trailing me.

I look back and see how dumbfounded he is and continue walking.

"You just set yourself up for war Dana" Cody stammers, "nobody tangles with Fin like that."

"If he causes me trouble I will deal with it" I give him a smile.
