Trevor's POV:

As soon as the fight started I could tell something was wrong. From everything Y/N had told me I had expected Summer and Tia to get up close and fight me where they were at there best in a fight, but instead, they were doing there best to stay away from me while shooting at me.

Trevor's Mind: "What the hell is going on, this isn't how they should be fighting," then realization donned on me, "they know our plan, no not just our plan they know everything, our semblances, our weapons, and our fighting styles. They also know our counter or at least they know mine."

Oliver's POV

Oliver's Mind: "Well this is going just the way Y/N said it would." I thought as I fought Ruby and Yang.

Flashback

As we were walking into the arena I felt Y/N's hand on my shoulder.

Y/N: Oliver I need you to listen well because I can only say this once, they know everything our plan, our semblances, our weapons, and our fighting styles. Thankfully I have a few tricks up my sleeve that they don't know about and you told me in the forest on our first-day that you were more than a bowman and that there was more to your bow than meets the eye. Now I have checked every record I have about you I can find and there is no mention of you ever using anything other than your bow, so that is how they think you will fight like an archer, don't. Use that secret element to your bow and catch them off guard and beet them if you can do that then go help Trevor if you do that we can win. Got it?

I nodded my head in confirmation.

Y/N: Good.

Flashback end

As Yang charged and Ruby stood back, firing shots at me, I backed up smiling, trusting in my leader's plan, while also firing some very interesting arrows at the sisters.

Ruby's POV

As we charged Oliver he started backing up as fast as he could and as he did he fired his arrows with deadly accuracy, but we had expected that and had a plan. We knew that trying to avoid and block his arrows was a fool's game thanks to his semblance, but if we got up close his lack of any melee weapons would defeat him. What I didn't expect was exactly what his arrows did, some were normal steel-tipped arrows, but there was much more. One arrow had Fire Dust for a tip and blew up when it hit Yang blowing her back a couple of feet, then he fired another arrow, also aimed at Yang and this one's head started changing midflight until its form finally consolidated into a punching glove, that slammed into Yang's face. In fact, most of his arrows were aimed at Yang, then I remembered that Oliver knew what we could do just like we knew what he could do. So he knew that letting Yang get into close up fighting with him would be a bad idea, especially with his lack of any melee weapons, so he was trying to go ahead and take her out. I smiled to myself.

Ruby's Mind: "Nice try Oliver, but it going to take more than a few weird arrows to take my sister down," but as I had that thought I had another realization, what if Oliver knew that he couldn't keep his distance from Yang forever and was just trying to weaken her enough to beat her close up, he was certainly skilled enough to be able to hold his own against Yang for a short time, maybe long enough to beat her at hand to hand. If that did happen then he would be able to start firing at me and I was confident that in a ranged battle he could beat me. With all of this in my head, I knew I had only one option left. I charged Oliver.

Yang's POV

I was taking a beating, this boys trick arrows had all sort of effects that slowed me down, blew me back, of just froze me entirely and I was beginning to worry. I knew that I would be able to reach him, but I didn't know whether or not I would have enough Aura left to beat him when I finally got to him, heck I was worried I wouldn't even be able to get to him in time. Then my salvation came in the form of my little sister streaking past me and toward Oliver, this caused him to have to switch his focus from me to Ruby, giving me the break I needed. With a yell, I charged him. As Ruby and I got within a few feet away he stopped firing, then he gripped bow in a weird way. It was like how a person may pick up a weight, except he was holding it in front of him, but I didn't put much thought into it, then with a final lunge Ruby and I reached him, then we struck out with our weapons, and everything went wrong. As our attacks went towards him I heard a wiring sound coming from his bow as it split in two, then its limbs turned into blades and we were facing a bowman no more, instead, we were facing a swordsman and a good one at that. He let loose with a barrage of stabs and slashes driving us, with our heavily depleted Auras, on to the defensive.
