As Vera searched through the books her eyes stopped on one especially the one her Father used to read to her before going to bed when she was still a kid 'a kings successful storyline'

"Even though this isn't a book for kids i enjoyed reading it with you father" she pulled from its place the book and grazed her fingertips over the cover a small smile creeping onto her features.

It has been almost a week since they bid their goodbyes to their Father and it did affect a lot of people the first one was her Mother she was locked on her room barely eating anything and acting strange, distant would be the best way to consider it but crazy or weird was the correct word for her way of acting.

The girl knocked on the office door and opened it when hearing his voice commanding to come inside "Brother?" She lowly asked "oh, Vera how can I help you?" Her Brother asked "I wanted to know if you could read this book to me? If you aren't busy by the moment" she smiled while looking down at the old book on her hands "I would never be busy for my little sister" Namjoon chuckled at the girl before him and stood up walking towards her small frame "isn't it the one that Father used to read for you?" He asked carefully taking the book from her small hands and into his bigger ones as she only nodded looking at her feet "how about we go to the garden it do seems like a nice day" when mentioning the garden the small girl looked up at her Brother her eyes shining in happiness, Namjoon knew his sister has been enjoying spending her time of lecture on the garden ever since their Mother stopped going there.

Namjoon took a seat on the bench near the small water fountain as his sister took a seat on the floor, just as she used to do with their father, Vera placed her head on her brothers thigh. he opened the book where the book mark was placed and started reading the chapter: a kings downfall.

After Namjoon had read a few more chapters to the younger girl Jimin appeared from behind "My prince" he interrupted bowing "Jimin" the young girl and tall boy said at the same time Namjoon looked down at the girl who pursed her lips and stood up "I will go to mothers chambers" she bowed and left the garden "what is it?" Namjoon closed the book and stood up the smaller one straightened up and told the news to the prince.

...

"What?!" Namjoon glared to Jin "quiet down we don't want them to hear you, now do we?" Jin shook his head taking again his seat on the office "so what you are telling me is that they confirmed it was one of our kingdoms arrows? But who could have done something like that?" Jin asked trying to understand why someone from their own kingdom would have killed their Father they must know certainly that that would cost their lives but sure Jin was never so close as Namjoon and Vera to their Father but still their Father would somehow show that he cared for his 4 children "so if the arrow is from our kingdom then who could have done that?" Jin asked once again making Namjoon groan in frustration, "we are not sure if the killer is Sevyrian or a Moiran spy but he most have had some sort of help from within our kingdom to get in and take the arrows"Jimin explained "I'm sure we'll find some sort of clue and if this person has been contacting someone from outside the kingdom or here there most be letters that prove... there's a traitor in the castle."

But sure that was enough information for him to do what he needed to do.

...

"How do you feel?" Vera asked her Mother while taking the tea cup from her, light, pale hands "better thanks to you my Daughter" she gave the young girl a weak smile and laid back on her bed "Vera?" She never called her by her name unless it was something important "yes Mother?" Vera asked full attention on her Mother's weak frame "after Namjoon's crowning we will discuss the details of your arrange marriage to another kingdom" she said sternly. Vera left her mother's room without saying a word.
