Kings & Queens || BTS ff [Moving]

Jimin called for the four brothers at the office to discuss some matters. The 2 princes an the 2 illegitimate sons were confused as to why they were asked to the office.

"Jimin what is it that you need?" prince Taehyung asked the general, "I need to discuss some things about Nam- the kings death and the next crowning ceremony" he said seriously.

"Okay. If it is about that, why the hell are this two here?" Jin spitted referring to Yoongi and Hoseok who stood silently, "Jin please cut the nonsense for a moment this is important for the four of you. And for Vera too." he earned a roll of Jin's eyes and continued "I think the best to do now is to postponed the next crown ceremony until we find who killed your father and brother. I believe it's related and for your own security it is better this way. Unless you want to die too." the last part was directed to Jin since they all new he is the next in line for the throne.

"I agree with him we should wait until everything is calm" Yoongi said, "yeah and what about the Moira's kingdom? If I'm not wrong we are still in war and they must already know Namjoon is death" at the mention of this Jimin got tense remembering the last thing he discussed with Namjoon "for now let's not worry about the enemy outside, first we have to handle the issues inside the castle. If we want to be strong to fight again first we need to find the rat in the castle. They won't attack if they think we have already crown Jin so lets go with that. Understood?" they all agreed and left the office leaving a stressed Jimin alone. He had to play his carts right to keep Vera safe, he knew her brothers were clueless about the deal Namjoon almost had her in and he wanted it to stay that way. He new if Jin got this information he would agree too, and that was all it was needed for him to act.

He went to his office and took out the letter Namjoon ordered him to send. Maybe this was a second chance for him to do things right, he brought closer the letter to the candle on his desk and like that it burned to ashes.

Jimin walked down the hall stopping one of the maids "have you seen the princess?" the maid nodded at his question "i saw her at the kitchen preparing the queens tea" the blonde man bowed and started to make his way to were the princess was.

When he stepped into the kitchen Vera was finishing the tea's preparation, just standing close enough to the table where she was, staying silent as she looked a little concentrated but the generals stare was way too strong making her look up eyes a little widened and lips slightly pouting, Jimin unconsciously smiled but quickly looked down "may i ask what are you doing my princess?" she stopped mixing the tea "i'm making my mothers tea" turning her back to him she tip toed reaching into one of the kitchens cabinets and pulling out one of the small black metal plates and facing again the beautiful man "where you searching for me?" she gave him a small smile placing carefully the hot cup on the plate a napkin and a spoon on the side "it smells good" Jimin leaned forward smelling the sweet yet bitter smell of the substance "can i try some" he reached forward just to be stopped by the princesses hand "no! it's for the queen" he stepped away thinking that her reaction was the cutest.

When seeing that Vera would be leaving the kitchen soon he leaned again and quickly checked if there was anyone near them before saying "after you take the tea to the queen, come see me at the barn" she nodded and he quickly left the cuisine to where he would be meeting the princess.

The princess went into the queen's chambers to be greeted by the state of her mother, she didn't look like herself. Even though they did not have the best of relationships she pitied the queen a little, "mother I brought you tea, drink it with your medicines" she told her mother who was looking blankly at the wall, her hair ruffled and wearing the same white dressing gown as six days ago "leave me alone I don't need an ungrateful daughter like you to pity me" her mother's words made Vera's heart ache and with a small "sorry" she left the room.

Sevyrian people knew things in the castle were tense, the servants working in it didn't help a lot spreading all kind of rumors, some of this real. The queens condition wasn't something new for the people, they pitied her for losing both her husband and eldest son in one week. There was people that understood her situation but there was also people who took her as a joke and called her 'The Mad Queen' since some of the crazy things she did where spread around the kingdom. No one took her seriously. Her time, was ticking.
