Facing Fear

Lyn pov

I didn't know that howl but It felt familiar I ran but I knew I was being chased it reminded me of when Jeff tried to kill me but it wasn't Jeff this time it was dad and hint Aviva and uncle Chris was chasing him

I finally stopped running at an abandoned house I remember this house it was once my home from a long time ago I turned around to see my family behind me this house needed to be set on fire it was blood stained

"what's wrong lyn " daddy gave me a sad look but I felt numb I wasn't sad or mad just numb "go on I'll keep them protected " hint put a protective shield around the four of them and I opened the door

Martin pov

I ran after Lyn until she stopped at an abandoned house this must've been her home before us and the rest came up from behind "what's wrong lyn " I knew something was up but hint had said something to her and put a protective shield around us

She opened the door but why wasn't she protected too something might happen to her I have to go after her "don't worry martin she was given gifts she will be just fine on her own this trail will only make her stronger " I sigh I wanted to help her but hint was right whatever was instore for her

Lyn pov

I opened the door and walked inside "I don't miss it here at all" my memories of my actual parents are faded I can't remember I walked up to my old room and heard the howl again

"COME OUT AND FACE ME" I yelled and looked out the window to see my family just waiting I walked to my parents room I heard something then BAM I feel to the floor I felt hot sir against my neck and I opened my eyes to see this monster

"I'll kill them I'll kill your family but first I must kill you" it snarled but I shoved it off and got to my feet "not if I kill you first" I barked and lunge at it but it doged my attack and I felt pain in my chest normally I wear my creature power suit but I didn't today

I touch my chest and I saw blood I saw the beast run beside me and dug its claws into my cheek I yelled in pain but got back and ran if I go outside I have a better chance I knew it was chasing me I heard footsteps but thanks to my gift Minda gave me I'm too quick

Chris pov

We waited outside for a bit then heard the howl again "whats making that noise" I asked hoping hint might know or anyone "it's Lyn's fear... " hint turned and looked at the three of us

"why her fear" Aviva asked "for lyn to be able to fight Jeffery she must fight fear first" as hint answered I saw the door bust open and LYN run out she was extremely quick almost as fast as a cheetah but she was soaked in blood which I turned and looked at Martin who was terrified then I saw the wolf

Lyn pov

I bust the door open and ran out I got a quick look at uncle Chris who looked terrified I spun around at looked at what I was fighting it was a wolf but it looked beyond dead which scared me a little

It scared me more when it looked at dad that's when I took my chance and rammed into it and slashed its face with I-i suddenly grew?  My nails got really long and I got the urge to run on all four legs I saw the wolf backed up

I snarled and rushed at it again which was my mistake I felt the creatures teeth in my throat and I heard daddy scream I felt blood on my hands and running down my neck I slashed its throat and it let go of mine

Martin pov

I saw lyn rammed into the wolf and it backed off then she rushed at it again I saw the monsters teeth tear into my daughter throat "NO LYN" I didn't care about my safety only Lyn's as soon as she slash the monster throat it fell and  disappear

Hint put the protection down and I rushed to Lyn's side she collapsed in my arms "h-hold on Lyn daddy's here please stay I can't lose you" I cried and looked at hint "y-your have to save her please " I begged but as soon I looked back at Lyn she wasn't breathing I was shaken she closed her eyes

"NO LYN PLEASE DONT GO WAKE UP PLEASE " I hugged her lifeless body and I heard Aviva and Chris crying "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE HER" I snapped at hint "because I gave her the gift of life... " I didn't know what he might I looked back at Lyn and all her wounds were healed

"l-lyn " I was shaking hoping she answer "dad... " she opened her eyes and smiled I cried more but. I was happy she was alive "I-im sorry hint.... " he chucked "it's alright martin you are a wonderful man to be a father to her" I didn't let go and Lyn hugged back
