Bakugo x reader

I cuddled with one of aizawas cats . His house was warm.. quiet.. I didn't think I would feel so at home here but I do.

"Hey kid.." Aizawa knocked on the door "you got a visitor.."

I sat up and walked to the door.. "Todoroki? What are you doing here ?" I opened the door letting him in. I directed him to my room so we can speak privately. "You look like something's up. What is it"

"Momo and I got into a big fight." He sighed.

"I'm sorry what about?"

"She knew something and didn't mention it to me before. She knew I was gonna say something."

"What?" My mind immediately starting thinking that maybe she wasn't ready for something serious or something like.

"It's about Bakugo."

My heart started racing. I could already tell what it was by his face.

"The reason why he cut you off unexpectedly.."

"Why..."

"He started seeing someone else...and things got serious."

"He cheated on me? With who!?"

"Setsuna tokage... from 1-b.."

My heart shattered into a million pieces. "They didn't want you knowing because.. they knew it was gonna hurt you.. and they didn't tell me because they knew I would've told you.."

"Your saying they... everyone knew ?"

"Yea..".. "apparently.. they're still together.."

I swallowed my pride and the lump in my throat.. "thanks for being my only friend Todoroki.."

"You don't have to pretend to be ok." He said.

"I do.. because if I don't .. I'm gonna bre.. I'm gonna .. break.." Todoroki pulled me into a hug telling me it was ok to.. to let it all out. So I did. I finally broke down.

After a few moments I wiped away my tears. "I'll be fine."

"See you tomorrow ok.."

"Yea."

Once Todoroki left Aizawa came in sitting at the She of my bed. "Am I selfish for expecting him to wait for me?"

"Yea.. but it's ok to be selfish sometimes. It's your life after all."

"Men suck." I laid back down and cuddled the cat.

"Boys do. Men know better. But that's life. It's filled with trial and error.  Just do a good job and let things fall into place the way they're supposed to.."

"We'll be working in the same company.. I don't know if I can see him everyday."

"Like i said kid.. let things happen the way they're meant to. Just focus on your career.  He may come around. He may not. But you're your mother's daughter.  Which means like her your amazing. Someone's gonna see that.."

Aizawa Pat me on the head which I found odd but I figured he wasn't used to these kinds of talks but he was better than he thinks.

The next morning.

"Good morning endeavor." I bowed. He raised his cold eyes at me and looked at my papers.

"Your work is impressive.. number two hero in America... alright.. as you know things are different here. I won't be putting you by yourself yet... so I'll have you shadow Bakugo for the time being."

I clenched my teeth and looked down.

He picked up his phone and dialed out. "Come to my office . You have a shadow." He hung up and continued to look through my files. "You and my son ... you guys worked well together."

"Shoto was the best.." i said.

"And He will be here as well."

"I don't disagree."

The door flung open "she'll shadow me instead" Shoto said walking in.

"Like hell.. your with me."

"This isn't up for discussion.. you said so yourself. We work well together. We'll continue that.. Bakugo isn't great at team work and would just bring her down.. make your company and your name look bad. Do you want that?"

"I suppose not."

"Than it's settled. Y/n will shadow me."

"Then your first route is going to this district right here. " He pulled out a map. "Girls around the ages of 13-18 have been going missing. Last abduction was an hour ago.. police are currently there waiting for you guys to show up. We haven't been able to find anything though.. but we've been able to narrow down some facts. All woman are brunette.. young student. And all kidnappings had happened within a 50 mile radius within each other."

"That's a large spread." Shoto said.

"We're still picking up patterns." Endeavor said.

"With my quirk I'll be able to tell if anything is underground or suspicious amount of people in a room nearby if I'm close enough to pick up their vibrations."

"You can do that?" He asked.

"She's top in the investigation league. " Shoto said proudly.. "as well as rescue."

"Go to the scene .. let me know if you learn anything new."

"Yessir"

Todoroki and i left the room and passed by Bakugo on the way.

"He won't be needing you after all.  She's shadowing me." Todoroki said. Bakugo rolled his eyes and stared me.

When did his gaze become so plain.

"What are you guys working on" He managed to finally say.

"The missing girls case."

"That's my case." He growled.

"The pros are here to solve it. Watch closely. You might learn something Bakugo" I teased.

"Don't think that your better than me" he hissed
