Soulmates

Chapter 1

Your mom is running around the house trying to put you to sleep. Your long brown hair that was let out loose trails behind you as you run around, your bright brown eyes are wide open, not ready to sleep. You slip and slide on the hardwood floor with socks and your pink pajamas. You wanted to play longer with your toys but it was past your bedtime. Your favorite TV show, Dora the explorer, was on, and all you could hear was giggles and Dora yelling in Spanish in the background. The whole house was a mess, plushies, and toys all over the floor. To get through you had to parkour your way out. Your dad had already fallen asleep, but woke up from all the ruckus. You giggle and smile and run all around the house, waving your hands in the air and screaming like the 5-year-old monster you were.

The chase lasted for an hour. It seemed like it would keep going on and on, with no end. Unfortunately for you, but fortunately for your mom, you trip on a bear plushie of yours and fall face-first onto the ground. Luckily, you didn't get hurt and you pout as  your mom finally catches you.

"Got you, you naughty little girl," she says. Your mom picks you up and brings you to the bedroom and puts you to sleep. What you didn't know was at the same time Jeon Jungkook, your soulmate, also fell asleep. The same night, you both experience your first dream together.

You dream about going to a magical place, which turns out to be candy land. There was a giant candy canes the size of houses and gumdrops the size of cars. Gum balls were there as huge boulders and giant Hershey Bars were the mountains. There were small gingerbread men that  lived in gingerbread houses. The ground was made up of sugar instead of dirt and the trees were giant cotton candy cones. This was the best dream you ever had as a child. You weren't alone in the dream, you both appear in each other's dreams, as another visitor. You were wearing a pink dress with pink sandals and Jungkook was wearing a neon green hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. A candy minion greeted you both. "Welcome to Candy Land! My name is Bob! Eat as much candy as you want here because there are no limits!" You both have a lot of fun eating candy and have a great time overall. There was a chocolate river that you both jumped in and came out covered in milk chocolate. You both become good friends but you don't know each other's names. You wake up the next morning, forgetting all about the dream you had.
