Cameron's POV:
Of course he ditched us! He probably was getting sick of me and Lacey for once. "Ferris?" Lacey calls out, looking all around us. I groan out of frustration and start speed walking. "Cam, wait up!" she catches up to me. I turn around and look at her, but decide to slow down a bit for her. "Are you trying to ditch me now?" Lacey asks me. "Not trying to. Typical Ferris, everything is always about him. He goes off without us, and we're all alone. He probably went back to school!" Lacey stares at me in disbelief.
"Pipe down, Cameron, I'm sure Ferris is around here somewhere! He wouldn't just leave us, and he ESPECIALLY would not go back to school." she tries to calm me down. "Okay, if he is still around here, where would he be?" I stopped walking, putting my hands on my hips and I look at her.
"Doing something INSANE probably." I snicker at her comment. "I could imagine that. Like I said-typical Ferris." I smirk, I sure smirk a lot. "Yes...but about something different with him though." Lacey continues looking around. "What are you interested in?" she asks me suddenly. I look at her and shrug. "Nothing."I smiled, she looks at me like I've got two heads. "What do you mean nothing?" Lacey asks me puzzled.
I shrug again and do not say anything else, but then we both hear someone on some kind of intercom. It sounds like none other than Ferris Bueller himself. "Ladies and gentlemen, you're such a wonderful crowd! This song is dedicated to my best bud in the whole wide world, who thinks he hasn't seen anything good today. So, Cameron Frye-this one's for you!" Lacey and I glance at each other in confusion. Next thing we know, we see a float coming our way and we spot Ferris with a bunch of what looks to me like German girls behind him.

Lacey and I are both in complete shock, and we immediately run over to the float. "Hey!" "Get off of the float you idiot!" we both yell at him. Lacey realizes what she had just called him. "I promise I did not mean that." she laughs nervously. Ferris looks at me and smiles, then he glances at Lacey. He gets down on one knee and he blows her a kiss, then stands back up and winks at her. Two police officers come over to us, and escorts us to the large crowd of people.
Lacey's POV:
Ferris starts singing Danke Shoen. He knows how much we both love that song. I just stand there, watching this whole thing happen. I look at Cameron who's on my left, he seems to be enjoying this surprisingly. Ferris then sings OUR favorite line in the entire song, he looks so handsome from up there.
