(Ghost! Denki Kaminari X Anxious!Reader)
You recently had moved into a new house, and everything was okay.
Despite what the previous owner claimed, no paranormal activities happened.
Just the old lightbulb flickering out a couple times, you needed to get that thing changed.
But today, you'd be extremely terrified.
While you were sitting on your bed, your lights suddenly blew out! Glancing around you run for the lightswitch....
It was a blackout.
"O-Oh no...." You stammered quietly, having an irrational case of nyctophobia, or fear of the dark.
"P-Please don't last long!" You said in a panic to nobody in particular.
But the blackout continues as you held yourself in tears.
That's when you noticed the flicker of a nightlight you kept near your bed af all times.
"H-Huh?" You swallowed a gulp of terror.
You walked closer as it suddenly turned on! You check the power but the lights weren't working.
"I-If there's a blackout... T-Then... Why?"
You stared at your nightlight when you suddenly see your lamp flicker on.
"W-what's happening?!" You muttered with a cold sweat dripping down your face.
That's when the cheesiest ghost sound you ever heard came to your ear,
"Woooooo!~ (Y/N)! Yooou have light noooow!"
It was cheesy, but you couldn't help but scream and hide under your covers, beginning to cry.
"Go away! Stop haunting me you evil ghost!" You yelled.
"Evil?"
It seems this ghost sounded saddened by your words.
"But (Y/N).... I'm not evil."
"H-How do you know my name!?" You shouted, studdering as well.
"Yooou live with me nooow! Sooo I learned yoooour name!" He imitated that stupid ghost noise you'd hear in an ASMR video again.
You look to see a blonde with sun kissed skin and a small black bolt in his hair.
"Hey (Y/N)! How do you feel?" They ask.
You were lost for words, this spirit seemed fairly attractive.
"I... Uhm.... I.... I feel much better." You manage to stumble out.
"That's good!" The mysterious spirit chimed, "My name's Denki, and I already know your's so...."
You wrapped yourself in covers again, trying to comprehend what happened.
Denki noticed your bundled up state and decided to sit next to you, "Don't mind me! Just gonna lean here..."
He began to lean against you, smiling. "Hey (Y/N)..."
"Y-Yes?"
"You know, the dark isn't all that scary."
"Why?...."
"Because," Denki cheered, "I'm in the darkness wanting to give you big hugs!"
That's just what he did, one big hug.
