True friends

    "I can't believe you made us leave Natalie like that." Angel spoke. I must agree. Luna added. "You accuse my judgment?" "Well it wasn't really her fault the hunter did what he did." Ren was furious. "My decision is final her and I are enemies now." Ren spoke. "How dare you do that to Natalie if this is the way you treat others then I'm not sure this is the pack for me!" Luna growled. She starred at Angel. "I agree Luna lets go!" "And where are you two going?" "Were going to be with our friend." Angel said. They ran off to find me. Tessa felt the same way. "Reality check Ren you've just lost your second Beta." "WHAT!" "Every pack knows your pack wont survive with just one Beta.... I'm out." she went to meet up with them.

   "Tessa?" "Natalie helped me when I was injured she's not our enemy and Ren's judgment is wrong." "Natalie invited me to be apart of the pack that's more then any packs ever done for me." Angel added. "I was cast out for being blind in one eye she offered me a pack and protection I owe her my life." Luna spoke. " Natalie is not only a great alpha but also a true friend."

   "So what if the others don't see it they're all fools." Tessa spoke. "And besides Ren can't run a pack with just one Beta." "Yeah serves him right." Luna agreed. "She is our alpha a true alpha pure of heart always looking out for her pack mates." "By leaving Ren and joining them we shall return the favor we all owe Natalie our gratitude." I caught their scent only moments later.

    I opened the door and they were still tails. "Luna, Angel and Tessa? What brings you here?" "We've come to join you." Tessa spoke. "What Ren decided it wasn't right." she added. "You're our friend Natalie and friends don't let friends down." Angel spoke. I was tearing up I was so happy. "You guys... I don't know what to say." "Even if we have to go to war with Ren not saying it's going to happen but we would gladly risk our lives for you." "All of you, you have no idea how much I appreciate your loyalty." 

   They exchanged a smile, "Please do come indoors and get out of the wind." I was invited as I opened the doors. "It is a sunny day too bad the wind is making it a bit chillier than it is supposed to be." Luna spoke. "Indeed I was thinking the exact same thing earlier." "Hello girls." Owen was greeted as he made his way up beside me. "OWEN!" Tessa spoke happily. "Tessa it is wonderful to see you again." He exchanged a smile with her. "You know I sensed something special between you both since you first met." She added Owen and I. "Sure you did." I smirked. "No honestly I did." she insisted. 

   "You all have come a long way how about something to eat and drink?" I offered. "Well I won't say no to that offer." Luna spoke through her thoughts. "I know it is a bit weird to be a wolf in your home instead of a secondary form you all are very lucky to have more than one identity." "It's really no problem Luna make yourself right at home but please do be careful." I told her. "Thanks I do appreciate it very much." she walked off to explore our home. "I better keep an eye on her." Tessa suggested. "OK, right lunch will be around shortly." I told her as she nodded and made her way over to Luna. " "May I be of any assistance?" Angel spoke. "Sure I could always use the extra help."

  "So do you think Ren will really start a war with us?" I asked her as I was making chicken salad sandwiches. "He sure does sound pretty convinced." Angel replied in a serious tone.  "Let us hope it does not come to this." I sighed. "Relax Honey we will get through this, even if he starts a war we will be alright." Owen assured me of kissing my neck. "We do not have a pack like he does." I assured him. "You don't necessarily need a pack to win a war." "Maybe you're right, I am just tense and angry about what he did to me... I just cannot get over it." He turned me to face him and spoke softly. "It's alright that is long over with you are safe now with a mate who loves you and will protect you." I smiled and kissed him.

   I finished up the chicken salad, placed together the sandwiches, Angel set the table and Owen brought over a couple sides. We all sat at the table and talked about the usual day to day topic. Nothing really new and exciting.
