The Emerald
Entering my home Katrina and Adrian sat up immediately from the couch they were sitting at. "We have to move on with the operation. We have to recap on what we have found." I said, sitting down on the couch overlooking the balcony. "Camilla, Christian, what have you found?"
"We did some undercover job at the location you have given us and um... you were right. China White, Cain and Roman Sionis were just listening to orders." Camilla reported.
"Because of the nature of the metal I won't believe that they got it by chance. The mystery man behind all of these is the key." I voiced out my doubt. "Nightwing and Batwing are prohibited from joining us after the torching."
"That's fine." Christian said. "Also I have found something intriguing." Then the penthouse unit locked down automatically, securing any window with slightly dark, non-transparent glass and the coffee table slid down, replaced by a silver desk with a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo in the middle. "Nice design Isa." He complimented. Then a programming appeared on the table top, with five palm scanners. "A standard issue now?"
"Yes, before you can access the S.H.I.E.L.D. database." Together we placed our palms on the scanner and it hummed.
"Identification verified : Agent Raven, Agent Bishop, Agent Romanova. Lakonia and Camilla Von Accola." The A.I. repeated our names and a holographic screen projected from the logo. "What can I do for you agents?"
"J.A.R.V.I.S., so how have you been? Rusty already?"
"I haven't yet Miss Mace, but I am still glad to assist you in any way."
"It's not me, my cousin Christian needs it."
"Gladly." He replied.
"Um... back to the subject. I have found out that our boy Jonathan here," He said as the image of Jonathan Mace, in undercover, popped up on screen. "is really what he says to be. An undercover agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. working for former director Nicholas Fury."
"Okay, at least a bit of trust is restored. He was right about dad, hours ago his motorcade was attacked but he got off safe." I said. "Go on."
"Isa, does Dimitri Lermentov ring a bell to you?"
"Yes, a black market arms dealer I have to keep an eye on recently. Why?"
"It turns out, all this things, the criminal pay offs, it was under his thumb all along." As Christian elaborated a holographic board appeared on screen, with photos of all of the criminals in custody linking to Dimitri Lermentov with red lines. "Is this a reason that you said you want to keep an eye on him?"
"... Yes. I have no point to keep this a secret now, I have been suspecting Lermentov was behind this when he first captured me. I'm not quite sure for certain yet but based on the evidence we all gathered, I can now confirm them."
"Wait a minute, you have been suspecting this guy since we arrived? Wow, you're a keeper for us to not find out." Katrina said in shock.
"Trust me, linking the dots is fast but we can't crack a case like this without working together to find the clues needed." I said, folding my arms. "We're a team and we're not alone in this."
"I completely understand." Christian stepped up. "Black Alpha is the only elite S.H.I.E.L.D. team that are assigned to big cases that threatened world security and peace, we work together because we're a team."
"And through our expertise and resources we can catch the crooks responsible."
"Correct." I chipped in. "It's not that I called you all for nothing, I wholefully believed that we can accomplish things together."
"Charming speech Isabella, but we still have a case to solve and a Russian crook to catch." Camilla said. But before we can react a huge explosion rocked the area hard. Quickly turning off the security systems we rushed to the balcony and saw the area, 5 kilometers away from us, in flames.
"Intel says that's a vibranium bomb." Katrina said.
"We cannot hide here now Isa. What do we do now?"
"Gather our allies, it's time that we end him." I said. "Get your gear and weapons." Entering my bedroom I opened the second closet and a black armored assassin gear is on display, waiting for me to put it on. Slipping on the suit I strapped the quiver of arrow lined with vibranium made arrow heads and bow, along with my sword, too forged from vibranium onto the back of my suit. When we converged on the rooftop of the tower we get a glance at each others weapons. Christian chose a sword, a few daggers and his cane-sword with both weapons hidden beneath his suit. Camilla brought her trusty Swiss Army Knife and handguns kept in twin holsters strapped each on her thighs, invisible to the naked eye because blending in with the dark suit. Adrian however, brought a short spear and xiphos, which both of them were too strapped to the back of his suit. Katrina brought weapons that are almost identical to mine but with a rope dart at the suit's belt. However I brought handguns and they remained strapped to the belt of the suit.
"The Bat signal's lit. Time to go." I said. Putting on our hoods we jumped off from the roof together, towards the inferno.
