I know! I know! A wild chapter on a discontinued book? Is this out of discontinuation? What about the rewrite? What is going on??
For your information: This is STILL discontinued, this storyline is no longer canon, the rewrite is the canon version. But what is this chapter doing here?
Well, I feel kind of bad leaving you all hanging, and I do have this not completed chapter at all so I decided to publish this!
No. I'm still not continuing this. This will be the last proper chapter updated in this book. Don't get your hopes up. But yeah, enjoy.

This time, the portal led us closer to the Frostbourne. By closer, I mean literally at the border of the taiga.
I stumbled when I got out, the true extent of my exhaustion registered in my body. I nearly fell over.
"Woah there. Take it easy," Rain said as he supported me. I blinked.
"Just...... really tired," I said and winced, "Yeah...... That adrenaline boost really drained me."
"Well, we're lucky we're a lot closer this time," he said, "Won't be long before a sentry spot us."
"Hopefully they won't react like when I came back not long ago," I said, trying to crack a joke. Even that feels like a lifetime ago.
"Then they would be a poor excuse for a sentry," Rain chuckled. I managed a small smile.
"Yep," I smiled. I pushed Rain off me and tries to stand on my own. I tried to take a few steps, it's wobbly and I nearly fell over again.
"Dude. I did say take it easy," Rain said, steadying me again. I shrugged it off.
"Nothing a small rest can't fix," I said, "I'm just tired that's all."
"You're never getting back anytime soon at this rate," he said. I rolled my eyes. I'm fine. I guess I will have to make a compromise.
"Fine then. I'll call for my wolves. Then will you let me handle things myself?" I suggested, rolling my eyes in the process. Rain crossed his arms.
"Fine," he reluctantly agreed.
"And you complain about me being overprotective a while back when you still got withered," I muttered under my breath. I whistled loudly, well not so loudly, but my wolves can hear me no matter how far away they are. It's a wonder, those three troublemakers.
(Yeah... Iris is based off me, and I recently took a quiz that classified me as a soloish person... So yeah, that's what that was about. ~Past Iris)
It wasn't long until a delighted bark was heard. I smiled.
"Aand that's Thunder. There's a reason I named him Thunder," I smiled. I was always more of a wolf person than a cat person, even when I was a kid. Kind of why I got wild wolves in a Taiga instead of adopting stray cats in the couple of villages I crossed. Even though they're useful warding off creepers.
"You're lucky you got your wolves," Rain commented. I smiled, I sure am. Wolves are the most loyal animal there is, once tamed. Even before they're tamed, they're extremely loyal to their pack.

The End.
What are you doing here? I'm not continuing this. The plot is too cringe for me.
Go check out the rewrite, although updates are insanely slow!
