Three years later
You were sitting at your desk in your newly bought apartment working on your latest project on your computer.
"Mommy, mommy look what I made" Your daughter Nicole came running in with a drawing in her hand. You spun around in your chair to face her.
"Here let me see" you said excitedly and she gave you the drawing.
"Its very pretty Nikki"
"Thank you mom. Im hungry" she said with her cute little voice.
"Okay, well you can go play with Tom for a little and I can make lunch, sound good?"
She nodded her head than ran away to play with her brother.
"Hey kids, foods ready" you shouted towards the kids bedroom. Both the toddlers came running into the kitchen. You placed their plates on the table and they started eating immediately.
"Mommy" Tom asked with his mouth full of food.
"Yes honey"
"Can you tell us about daddy"
"I have already told so many times, do you wanna hear it again"
"Yes" they said in unison
"Okay" you smiled.
"Well your dad was a wonderful person. He was kind and caring, and very handsome. I loved him with all my heart"
"Dont you love daddy anymore" Nicole asked with her sweet voice.
"Of course I do sweetheart. I will always love your dad. Just like I will always love you" you said and poked their stomachs a little.
"Do you think daddy loves us" Tom asked. They had both stopped eating now and listened you.
"I know he does. Even tough he never got the chance to meet you, he never stopped talking about how much he loves you" you said and smiled at them.
"I hope daddy is happy in heaven" Nicole said sadly.
"Me too honey, me too"
