Usually you'd be able to hear the decepticon ship from miles away, but now you had to rely on your other senses, you could try to sniff out the ship.. but it's not as good as your hearing, it's better than trying to look for the ship though.
Arcee's POV
Since I was the one to lose D/N I volunteered that I go look for her while everyone else continued planning for Ratchet's rescue. I didn't get very far before I saw her, she can't hear anything so I might be able to tranqualize her without her noticing me.
I transformed into bot mode and loaded my cannon. I should aim for the side of her neck. I pointed my cannon and shot.
She faltered in the air before dropping like a fly. I thought I was in the clear, but it turns out she was falling right into a ravine.
