You were both best friends who promised each other that you won't leave each other behind. Typical promise for best friends, right?

Sigh, if only it was that simple.

"Damn, this party's loud. Let's go somewhere much calmer." C/N said before grabbing your hand and leading you to the stairs and into the rooftop.

He sat down and patted the floor beside him, gesturing that you sit there.

Sitting down, your attention drifted to the star-filled sky above the two of you.

Nothing could be heard except the breaths that you two took. Silence remained between you for a few minutes before he asked a question.

"Hey, Y/N. Have you ever thought of having a boyfriend?"

"That was out of the blue," you said before taking a good look at him. "But not really, I guess." you continued.

Lies. You're lying to yourself. You know it, you know you love him. Why are you so afraid of the consequences when you've never even tried?

"Well, I have been thinking a lot, lately." he said as he laid down, gazing at the sky.

"Hm?" you hummed, thinking of possible things he'd say.

"Y/N, I love C/G." he said while looking at you, a smile on his face.

Tears threatened to fall from your eyes, but you held it in. "Oh? Have you already confessed to her?" you asked, trying not to sound sad.

C/N sat up and giggled before nodding yes. This broke your heart even more.

"What did she say?" you tried to sound interested, but you weren't interested at all. You wanted to go to your room and cry, cry, cry.

"She said yes." C/N said happily. You tried to smile, and said congratulations to him.
