「y/n's pov」

Tonight's the night. Prom night. The prom is tonight. I gathered up my courage and was going to ask (C/N) out, until he rejected me and said he already had a date.

I wasn't really a known kid in our class, so it would be normal if he didn't really notice me.

But here I am, getting ready for prom, in front of the closet. I open its doors, revealing a baby blue dress, having a navy blue lace that wraps around its flower-like fabric.

I grabbed the hanger of the dress and laid it on my bed, before grabbing my towel and went to the bathroom to take a wash.

「timeskip」

I began drying my hair as I took a glance at the clock. It read 6:20 pm. I smiled and began changing clothes.

「timeskip again because author-chan is lazy」

I was at the dance floor. Everyone was lovey-dovey, but I didn't care. My eyes drifted off to a familiar individual, (C/N).

He wasn't really dancing... He was just with his friends.

「c/n's pov」

"Dude! You're so lucky that you got (r/n) to be your date!" (c/b/f) said.

"More like, unlucky. I rejected (y/n) because she was my date." (c/n) sighed.

(c/b/f) sighed as well, probably saying that I'm too undecisive.

He got distracted by his date, and I didn't mind, so I found something to distract myself too.

My eyes drifted to the girl I rejected, (y/n).

She looked really pretty in that blue dress, in fact, it was like she was made for it.

Then she saw me looking at her so I immediately looked away, blushing a little.

Idiot, you should at least TRY to walk up to her, no?

The voice in my head kept saying that same phrase, over and over.

I had enough of it.

So I did it. I'm now walking up to her.

I inhaled a bit exaggeratedly. "Hey~" I said, realizing it was a bit seductive.

Crap. I didn't mean to do it seductively.

"Oh... hey." she said, looking away.

Fuck, she's weirded out now.

"A-ahem. I'm sorry for rejecting you. I already had (r/n), but she's no fun." I said, taking a glance at (r/n), who was getting drunk at the moment.

"I bet you'd be a lot more fun, (y/n)!" I said, trying to boost her mood up, making her blush.

I sat down beside her, putting my hand next to hers.

"Hey..." she started, grabbing my attention, making me look towards her direction.

She inhaled deeply before continuing. "I gueeeess I'm in love with you."

"O-oh." I mumbled.

「y/n's pov」

Oh? Shit.

Standing up, I said these words, getting ready to leave"I-I'm sorry, I should just go-" before (c/n) grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him.

He stood up before pulling me into a kiss, I couldn't do anything but kiss back.

"I love you." he said as we kissed.
