Where The Hades Are We?

Montauk Beach, 1996

Sally Jackson was resting on the beach, it was her second day on the beach and already, a man with black hair and sea-green eyes had come up and flirted with her. He had left saying he had some things he needed to do but would be back later. He called himself," Poseidon." They were roughly the same age, and he was so kind and gentle, Sally found herself falling for him, despite this being her second day knowing the guy. Suddenly, a bright light engulfed her and she found herself somewhere she didn't know.

Mount Olympus, Ancient Times

Hestia was watching her family argue, smiling whenever she noticed Hades get up from his corner near his mother-in-law's throne where his wife was currently sitting at the foot of, letting Demeter braid her hair with flowers. Hades sat down at the hearth, Demeter's argument with him ceasing immediately as he took a seat. Before Hades could ask Hestia for advice, a bright light appeared. Almost as soon as it appeared, it was gone, however, but in its place stood a group of very confused people and one apprehensive young man.

Zeus stood up and spoke loud enough for the people to hear, and if you concentrated, you could hear the hostility in his voice," Who are you? You are interrupting an important meeting!" The apprehensive young man relaxed almost instantly and then spoke in a calming voice," Okay. Good. I didn't know how you would react. How about we all introduce ourselves and then I tell you what we are doing. I'll start, I am Chaos, the primordial god of the void and creation."

Zeus sat down and huffed," Zeus. I hope you all know who I am." The mortals nodded. Chaos jumped up from where he had sat down on the floor," Oh! By the way, we are all from different time periods. The Olympians are from ancient times, I'm from 2019, and the mortals are from anywhere from the 1920s to 1998. Figuring out the order to introduce yourselves in, is going to take a long time, so I will finish the introductions. When I say your name, wave or say hey or something like that."

"Lady Hera."  The goddess smiled a cold smile.

"Lord Poseidon, Lady Amphitrite, and Triton." The three immortals waved.

"Lady Demeter, Lady Persephone, and Lord Hades." Persephone and Hades waved and smiled, while Demeter hummed and waved.

"Lord Ares." Ares cruelly smiled.

"Lady Athena." Athena waved at the mortals.

"Lord Apollo and Lady Artemis." The twins simultaneously waved and said hello.

"Lord Hephaestus and Lady Aphrodite." The couple waved and Aphrodite winked.

"Lord Hermes." Said god waved and smirked mischievously.

"Lord Dionysus and Lady Ariadne." Dionysus glanced up uninterested and waved. Ariadne grinned at the mortals.

"Then, we have Heracles. Theseus. Perseus. And Jason." Said people waved and the heroes bowed to the mortals and their parents, while Heracles turned away and glanced down, uninterested.

Chaos cleared his throat," Now for the mortals."

"We have Maria Di Angelo. Naomi Solace." Maria waved and hello in both English and Italian. Naomi waved at the mortals.

"Marie Levesque." Marie kept her eyes cast down at the ground and said hello.

"Sally Jackson. Hunter Beauregard. Carly Beckendorf." Sally grinned and said hello. Hunter and Carly bowed.

"Ruby Kane and Julius Kane." Said couple waved.

"Amos Kane, Robert Faust, and Catherine Faust." The magicians waved.

"Chief Lector Iskandar." Iskandar bowed deeply.

"Emily Zhang and Jingfei Zhang." Emily waved and Grandma Zhang greeted the Olympians in Chinese.

"Hiroki Tanaka, Justin Gardner, Julian Ramirez-Arellano, May Castellan and Victoria Stoll." The mentioned mortals waved.

"Hatim Rashid and Selima Rashid." The couple greeted everyone in Arabic and English.

"Frederick Chase, Natalie Chase, and Randolph Chase." The siblings waved and bowed to the Olympians.

"Esperanza Valdez. Tristan McLean. Beryll Grace." The Hispanic woman waved and you could see the grease stains on her hands. The Cherokee man bowed. The starlet waved.

"Finally, Jid, Bibi and Ayesha Al-Abbas, and Esperando Fierro."

Chaos summoned some couches for the mortals to sit in," I do have a seating chart, sorry. I've grouped you by family and by couple. So, if you are by someone, then either, they are your child's half-sibling's parent, or their child is going out with your child."

"On the sea-green and gray couch, we have Sally Jackson, Frederick Chase, Natalie Chase, Randolph Chase, and Esperando Fierro. On the sky-blue couch, we have Beryll Grace, Tristan McLean, Hunter Beauregard, Carly Beckendorf, Hiroki Tanaka, Esperanza Valdez. On the purple couch, we have Maria Di Angelo, Naomi Solace, Marie Levesque, Emily Zhang, and Jingfei Zhang. On the red couch, we have Ruby, Julius, and Amos Kane, as well as Ruby's parents and Hatim and Selima Rashid. On the single chair, we have Chief Lector Iskandar. On the silver couch, we have Justin Gardner, Victoria Stoll, and May Castellan, as well as Julian Ramirez-Arellano, who is related to but he isn't related to anyone and his children are single, but he's getting put with some of Reyna's friends. On the black couch, we have everyone else. Oh yeah! I apologize to everyone on the red couch, none of you like the color red as it is the color of evil, but it fits all of you on it so..."

The mortals got sorted out and Chaos got the immortals not in a throne, some better seats than the floor. Chaos sat down on a galaxy bean bag," Okay. So, we will be reading books about your children. Future, of course, because the demigod parents have just met their child's godly parent. We are reading The Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Percy Jackson, and the Olympians, and Heroes of Olympus."

Zeus smiled coldly," Well, let's get started then, shall we?"

Chaos smiled brightly back," Yes. Let's get started, but, stop secretly hoping that you get to attack your siblings' kids. Chase family, stop pointing each other trying to guess who Magnus' parent is." The Chase family promptly dropped their hands.
