It's not my fault. I tried to tell myself to not fall for those eyes (and the boy who comes with it.) But too late. We slump onto the couch, he's still wildly kissing me, but with his soft elegant lips I remember. He starts kissing my cheeks then my jaw, I feel every last hesitation slip away from me.

He gently pulls  my head back, and I feel his lips work softly down my neck, between Day's kisses I say " I love you Day," He just smiles against my neck and keeps kissing. A moan escapes when he's done, he walks over to the kitchen and gets me and himself some water. He blushes furiously, and grins.

I return a smile then hear static in my ear piece. I point to my ear and say.
" I'll be one second." And I scurry off to my bedroom. "Hello?" I ask. "Hi, Ms. Iparis it's Anden. My apologies for calling so early in the morning, but there's a problem at Batalla hall. If you are busy no worries, but it may be of interest to you." He says quietly. "No, I'll be glad to come." I respond. Then the call ends. I tell Day I'm going to Batalla hall, he of course asks to join. I politely decline. I don't need him staring me down at an important time like this. He seems a bit upset but he understands, we grab our coats and head out.

We part our ways just as a Jeep arrives to pick me up, Anden steps out and hugs me, I smile, I see Day gingerly stare from a distance his jaw clenched at the sight. I blush and gently push out of the hug.

I glare out the window of the Jeep, thinking of every possible way they need me there, war? No, can't be. I glance up to see Anden staring me down, then he blushes and looks at his feet.

When we arrive I'm greeted by two soldiers and ushered inside, I wonder why they're so secretive about me being here, but I let logic fill my head instead, the two soldiers at my sides look anxious and fear fills there voices as they bark at other soldiers.

Somethings not right. I get a tingly feeling in my stomach ( not a good feeling) as we approach a conference room, not soon after I enter and sit, Anden walks in with former Republic commanders and generals and several senates. I politely bow, Anden Sits and nods his head in approval. Then turns on a small screen , what it shows makes my stomach twist inside. Africa's president is announcing a tournament, a tournament for the best commanders and soldiers. And I have no doubt I'm being chosen.
