I walk in silence for a while, cringing at how affectionate that hug was, they might as well have said they were engaged. But I shouldn't blame her, well I'm a boy a boy who's forgotten her completely and have lived the past 10 years, like they were my favourite. Compared to Anden I'm nothing.

I quietly creep into our apartment half expecting a little sleepy Eden, instead I see Eden and Tess kissing. My jaw drops, but I don't dare say a word I quietly step back outside and a quiet click reassures me I closed the door.

I walk along the streets with my hair pulled back into a loose tail, what seems like an hour turns into much longer. I reach a street called Oceanview, and there before my eyes is in fact the ocean. I curse under my breath, thinking about how far I must have walked. I analyse the buildings that surround me, a white cement building with dozens of windows. I find a good foothold and boost myself up quietly and climb 8 floors in record time, in less than a minute. I reach the top and there's an extraordinary view. I see hues of blues as far as I can see. White foam pours gracefully from the perfect waves onto the sandy beach. It's way more maintained here then the slum sectors, where trash and clothing line the sand and murky brown water covers up all its glory.

I wait there sitting at the edge of the cement building, as the sun rises for the day. The water turns a pinkish purple colour in the early morning, which takes my breath away. I get pulled away from its beauty to the sound of static in my ear, I should haven't taken that damn ear piece out. But I reluctantly get up and start pacing.

It's June. She starts with
" Hi, erm I have news... Antarctica wants you back, uh well kind of." She stops, she sounds short of breath.
" What do you mean kind of?" I question, with a serious tone.
" Well it's a long story but Africa has set up a tournament system, which means all the best captains, commanders or soldiers go and fight." She pauses. I know exactly what's coming, I freeze and start to tremble. " uh well the winning country gets the reassurance of no harm for 15 years, but they want me to be in that tournament."
My heart stops, my lungs stop, everything stops it feels like time is moving way to fast and I slowed it down.
"What?" I practically shout. "I know, but there's a bigger problem... Antarctica needs you back to win that game." She whisper. After that there's body aching silence, that makes my body shudder. " No, no, no I can't!" I yell. I hear her softly cry, and all I want to do is comfort her in a loving hug. But she's not here.
