ROYCE POV
The bass thumped all around me mixed with thick clouds of smoke. This is my last kickback before I leave for L.A, to say I'm gonna miss it here is an understatement.
"Aye Royce you tell Mari yet?" my brother Mosey asked. We ain't blood brothers,but we act like it.
"Man nah I can't I don't know how to" I huffed, Amari is my girl. She ain't like these other hoes. She's loyal, she ain't a thooter, and she bad as fuck. We been together since freshman year and I can't break her heart like that.
"Man you have to, you can't just go ghost on her. Look Mari isn't like these other girls, she ain't a thooter for one, smart as fuck, loyal, and on top of that she's a ride or die." Sauve added
"Remember back in sophomore year when she would always hit licks with,you not once did she fold on yo ass?" Jay said
" Yeah yall right, maybe I should tell her but when?"
" Now nigga!" Neek yelled. I stood up and left out the studio. I drove over to Amaris house and noticed her living room lights were on, that meant her mom was home. I walked up to the door and knocked. Seconds later her mom opened the door and invited me in.
"Hey Ms. Harris, is Amari here?" I stuffed my hands in my pockets. I prayed that she wasn't home so I didn't have to tell her.
"Yeah she's in her room you can go up but keep that door open." I headed upstairs and on her door.
"Come in" I heard her soft voice answer. I walked in and saw her laying on her bed surrounded by papers and textbooks. When she looked up she got up and hugged me.
"Hey baby girl," I kissed her and sat at the edge of her bed, " Mari I have to tell you something."
"What is it" she sat up and scooted next to me.
" Uhh I don't know how to tell you this but, I'm leaving." I sighed
" What do you mean you're leaving Royce?" I heard her voice crack. I felt my heart break hearing her.
"I'm leaving Seattle and going to L.A with Mosey. He got picked up by a label and the gang is leaving." I looked over and saw a tear slide down her cheek. I held her in my arms and kissed her forehead
"When are you leaving for L.A?"
" Friday" I looked at her and she started crying even harder. She shoved me out the way and stood up.
"Royce get out" she picked up a slide and threw it at me but I ducked.
"WHAT THE FUCK AMARI WHATS WRONG WITH YOU" I YELLED
"YOU GOT SOME DAMN NERVE ROYCE YPU TELLING ME YOU LEAVING TWO DAYS BEFORE YOU LEAVE. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER HUH? LIKE ARE YOU DEADASS MY NIGGA?" she picked up another side and threw it at me hitting me in the shoulder.
"AMARI NICOLE HARRIS IF YOU DON'T STOP THROWING SHIT AT ME WE GONE HAVE A PROBLEM" I walked up to her.
"NIGGA YOU AINT GO DO SHIT" she pushed me and slapped me. I felt me cheek sting, I never have seen this side of Amari.
"I see how it is Amari, don't call, text, facetime me or anything. I'm done witcho ass" I opened the door and went downstairs, but before I could walk out her mom stopped me.
"Royce sit yo ass down at that table." I went and sat down at kitchen table she crossed her arms and shook her head.
" Did she tell you?" she asked. I was confused.
" Tell me what?"
"Royce she's pregnant." I got up and punched the wall, so that's the reason she went off on me. " I KNOW DAMN WELL YO LITTLE WHITE ASS DIDN'T JUST PUT A DENT IN MY WALL. LOOK I KNOW YOUR MAD BUT THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO MESS MY HOUSE UP SO SIT YO ASS DOWN NOW" I sat down and heard footsteps coming down, I turned around and saw Amari.
"Royce leave now before I call the police and I'm not playing" she threatened,
" You foul as fuck for that shit Amari, but remember don't you ask me for shit." I stood up and left.

AMARI POV
"Amari you know you wrong fir what you did to Royce last night right?" My mom asked. I was at the table eating a bowl of cereal before heading off to school.
" Mom you don't know-"
I don't want to hear it, I dont' care what happened but you shouldn't have put your hands on him. Did he put his hands on you?" she took my empty bowl and sat it in the sink.
"No" I mumbled while grabbing my car keys" oh and grandma called and asked if you could drop her off at her appointment"
"Ok. Bye Amari"
I aarrived at school and all eyes were on me. I saw my friends Yas and Lexi and walked up to them
"Hey Mari" Lexi greeted
"You know why everyone mugging me." I asked.
" Well Royce had a kickback yesterday and apparently you a thooter. He said you cheated and tried to trap him." Yas answered.
"I'm finna kill him." I looked around and spotted him talking to Jay and Mosey. I wlked over and pushedd him against the locker.
"SO NOW IMMA THOOTER AND TRIED TO TRAP YO ASS WITH A BABY ROYCE YOU KNOW YOU THE ONLY NIGGA I'VE EVER FUCKED WITH. YOU WERE MY FIRST." I yelled feeling tears swell in my eyes.
" Amari come on now you know damn well you and Sauve fucked 2 months ago." He scoffed. 2 months ago I found out Royce cheated on me so in return Sauve gave me head.
" I ain't fuck that nigga Sauve he just gave me head. you know damn well YOU the only nigga that has fucked me. You know what you go to L.A but when shit goes bad don't call me or MY child." And that was the last time i ever saw Royce in 2 Years.
