Chapter 11

"Y/n! Come here I have a surprise for you!"

You opened up your bedroom door and peered around the corner, just about getting a glance of the doctor stood in the kitchen. With a shrug, you made your way down the hall and into the kitchen. The doctor had his back to you, he seemed to have something cooped up in his arms. You folded your arms in confusion, "Uhh.. sup?"

He suddenly turned around without a word, a large smile on his face, "Here!" You marvelled at what he held in his arms. It was a bright red dress that sparkled beautifully in the light, it had long sleeves and a slit halfway down the skirt of it. Your eyes went wide at the sight of the pretty gown.

"Doctor.. oh my.. what exactly is this for?"

He handed it over to you with a pair of red heels, you took them from him in confusion, "Well, I figured that you would want to maybe go out to dinner? You've been in here for so long I thought it would be a nice treat or something. Please don't make a mockery I'm not exactly the romantic type." He blushed a bright pink and you couldn't help but giggle, "Romantic type? Are you implying that you want to take me out on a date, Doctor?" He smiled softly, "To put it that way, yes." You gripped the gown in your hands and your eyes lit up, "How can I say no?"

049 flashed a toothy smile, "Excellent. Be ready by 8, yeah?" You smiled and nodded.

Hours passed by and 7:50PM rolled round. You stood in front of the bathroom mirror and brought your hair up together, letting your bangs drop down the sides of your face. You examined yourself in the red dress that you wore, it complimented your curves and brought out the bright expression on your face. You adjusted the heels on your feet and let out a small exhale of nervousness. Dressing up pretty was never really your style and considering you'd never been out for dinner like this properly, it of course brought up your anxiety.

After minutes of contemplation, you exited the bathroom and shut the door behind you. Your heels clicked against the wooden floor as you made your way into the living room, your gorgeous dress swaying as you went.

049 stood from the couch almost immediately. You went red in the face after seeing that he was dressed very handsomely in a tuxedo. His eyes lit up once he saw you, he smiled, "Oh my.. my love you are looking extremely stunning." You smiled, feeling the heat in your cheeks rise suddenly, "Th-thank you, Doctor." He grinned lightly, offering his arm to you politely. You blushed and moved forwards, linking your arm with his. He gazed down at you with dark eyes, his lips parted lightly revealing his slightly pointed, white teeth. You leaned into him, feeling the warmth from his body latch onto yours almost immediately.

You both exited the house, the doctor made sure that the front door was locked behind you both. Walking along the path, gripped onto 049's arm tightly, the night air nipping at your skin in a very sinister vibe.

"So my dear, we have a little bit of a walk. I'd say around 15 minutes."

You nodded silently, your heels clicking against the concrete very smoothly. The doctor felt your grip tighten on his arm every now and then. He chuckled lowly, keeping his head forward as he began to speak, "Nervous much?"

You shuddered at the sudden change of tone in his voice. In a swift movement, 049 suddenly twirled you around, wrapping an arm around your waist and dipping you down inches from the ground. You gasped loudly and wrapped your arms around his neck making sure to keep a tight grip around him. His face was inches away from yours, you could feel his hot breath against your lips. You stared into his dark yellow eyes in shock.

"I want you to know that you can trust me. In no way will I hurt you. Tonight I will keep you safe from any harm."

You bit your lip in anticipation and smiled warmly in a sudden moment, "Th-thank you doctor.." He lifted you up from the ground suddenly, back onto your feet. You snaked your hand around his arm yet again and kept a good grip. He smirked slightly as you both carried on walking towards town.
