chapter 1: auroras awakening

"wake up, aurora."

i see a bright light righting in my eyes, i open them, i see a very high sealing and this weird thing right above me, i feel water surrounding my body, i look down to see myself laying in my under garments, submerged into very cold water that is draining away. i pull myself up and sigh, i fully get up and look around, i see a pedestal kinda thing and a door. i walk up to the pedestal, it starts to move and i flinch. some sort of small tablet pops up, there's an eye on it, it looks so familiar, but i don't know where i have seen it from. again, i hear that same, sweet and familiar voice.

"that is a sheikah slate, take it. it will help guide you after you long slumber"

i have been sleeping? for how long? i don't remember anything, i don't know anything, i need answers! i take the sheikah slate and hold onto it, the doors open and i walk through them. i see some boxes and two chests, i open both of them and get a pair of ripped and tattered pants and also a shirt, i put them on and put the sheikah slate on my belt. i walk up to another pedestal right next to the corner of the room, again, i hear that same voice.

"hold the sheikah slate up to the pedestal. that will show you the way."

i did as she said, i put it up to the pedestal and a glowing eye on a huge door lit up, it started opening up, i walked closer and the light emerged from the opening, the light was so blinding, i put my hand by my eyes to cover them.

"aurora...you are the light—our light—that must shine upon hyrule once again. now, go."

im so confused, but i run up the stairs, i immediately stop when i see a little pond i sit down and feel the water, a smile grew on my face as i start splashing my hands in it. i then got up and climbed up to the surface, i climb up and see see beautiful trees and wildlife, i must be in a forest. i run out into the grass and spread my arms out, feeling the beautiful summer breeze. i look up into the distance and see an older man staring and smiling at me and then he walked away, i immediately ran up to where he is. i ran up the hill and see the old man sitting down next to a fire.

as i start to walk up to him a see another figure walk up to him, they start having a conversation, i slowly walked up to them
"h-hello.." i say shyly. i hope i didn't disturb them.
