Chapter 31
Declan's POV:
Julian. I want to crush his skull, I want him to suffer, I want him to drown in pain. He touched MY ELLA. He threatened her, he put his repulsive hands on her, he made her cry. He made my baby cry.
Red is all I see. He scared her, who the fuck does he think he is? He can hurt me, but no one will hurt Ella and get away with it. NO ONE.
Her tear-stained cheeks, her pink pouty lips, her pleading eyes. I can't get the image out of my head, he did this to her. She's so fragile and a piece of her broke knowing her family is in danger.
It was a real effort getting myself together, pretending I was okay. I had to for Ella's sake. She didn't like violence, it scared her significantly. Her heart was too good, she is to outstandingly moral.
Walking into school with her is always frustrating. I hate how all the boys comb their perverted eyes down her body. Of course, she's oblivious but it makes me want to punch all of them. She's mine, my girl not theirs.
It makes me so mad that Ella can't even be comfortable in a place that she has to practically go to every day. I can't help but smirk as she usually hides into my side as we walk the halls. I don't know why but I love it, she's too cute.
I can't help but tease her at her locker. I love seeing her blush, she's so unbelievably stunning I can't get enough of it. I watch as her little hands tremble and her lips quiver. When she bites her lips I can't help but stare.
I know how girls see me, I know how I make them feel. But this girl makes my heartache, she makes me crazy, she's the only girl who intoxicates me. Her innocence is exhilarating, her unworldly beauty is undeniable, her heart is exquisite. I want everything with her.
When Ella's friend Olivia walks over to us I watch as my Ellie squirms.
"Ella thank the heavens you're here," Olivia exclaims taking long strides towards us. I watch as Ellie lets out a sigh.
Olivia stops and stands beside Ella. She glances at Ella's rosy cheeks and her eyes lift to me with a raised brow, "Am I interrupting something?"
Almost immediately Ella blurts, "No." The corner of my lips quirk up, she's flustered and it's hella adorable.
I watch as Ella's eyes peek over at me and she quickly adverts them to Olivia, "No you're not interrupting anything." She covers up.
Olivia grins totally not buying it, "Okay, well umm do you want to walk around?" I lean against the cold metal locker and cross my arms waiting for Ellie's response, it's amusing seeing her nervous.
She peeks over at me with her beautiful blue eyes and takes a second before answering,
"Yeah sounds good."
Her hair flies behind her back as she turns away to leave. She didn't even spare me a glance, smirking I reach out and grab her arm pulling her back.
Leaning down I whisper into her ear, "I'll be waiting for you after class, we'll finish our conversation later."
Her blush deepens in color, I kiss her forehead letting go of her arm. She once again turns around and scurries towards Olivia.
Chuckling at Ella, I take out my phone and text Wes. 'We need to talk.'
Not even five seconds later my phone buzzes, 'Meet me out back.'
Throwing my phone into my back pocket I make my way outback. Julian doesn't know what's coming, but I'm going to make sure it hits hard. He strives to make my life miserable, he always has, and now it's time to change that.
