Demi's POV
I woke up the next morning with Melody curled up in my arms she looked so cute as she slept. We were going to get her clothes and bedroom stuff today and I also planned on trying to feed her too.
"Melody" I said softly. She whined a little and her eyes fluttered open
"Mommy" she said whilst hugging me tightly
"Hey baba, shall we get ready and do some shopping?" I said stroking her hair. She nodded and stretched.
I climbed out of bed and went to run a bath, Melody crawled in after me obviously not wanting to be on her own. When I had finished running the bath I began to undress her and then I tried to place her in the water, however she screamed and hung onto me for dear life.
"NO MAMA!" She cried
"Ok, sshh baby mommy here. Do you want me to get in with you?" I asked she nodded and calmed down. I undressed and climbed in and laid Melody on me. I sang to her for a little bit and then began washing her tiny body. She whimpered a little but when I told her I wasn't going to hurt her she relaxed and let me wash her.
After we had breakfast, we jumped in the car and drove to the mall. I picked Melody up and carried her inside ignoring the paps shouting annoying comments at me. Once inside, I found a baby store that sold strollers because I knew even though she was little I couldn't carry her around everywhere.
"Which one do you want baby?" I asked her. She thought for a while before saying
"That one mommy" I looked to where she pointed and saw a reasonable sized stroller.
"Ok baby, let's go buy it" I said tickling her
Once I'd bought it, I placed Melody in there strapping her up so she wouldn't fall out. The next store we went to sold bedroom things. I didn't know yet if Melody wanted a crib or a bed with pull up bars.
"Baby, you need to tell mommy what bed you want." I said crouching down beside her
"One with bars mommy" she smiled
"A bed with bars, or a crib?"
"Crib please" she said sweetly
"Ok, anything for my angel" we picked out a white crib with pink bedding and then wandered over to other furniture. I figured I needed a baby changer and other things like that so I ended up have to have a lot of things sent to my house. Once that was cleared up, all that was left was clothes. I walked into a little kids store and picked out some clothes I thought she would like, she was tiny and only a size 6 but that was ok, that meant all the clothes were young for her so it was okay.
"Come on baby let's try these on" I said picking her up out of her stroller
"Nuh uh mommy, tired" she said rubbing her eyes
"Please baby, just for mommy?" I pleaded. She whined, but eventually tried on all the clothes
"That's it baby now we can go home" I said after we had paid
On the drive home Melody fell asleep, however as we pulled up at the house she became wide awake.
"Milky mommy" she said making grabby hands. I picked her up and she tried to grab my boobs
"Ok baba, wait just a second" she didn't, and only stopped when I laid her across my lap "you ready baby?" I asked, I really hoped this worked
"Yer mommy me very hungwy" she replied
I un latched my bra and took out my boob, Melody automatically latched on and began drinking. I was so relieved. She took my hand and played with it with both her hands. Our eyes locked together brown on brown. She snuggled in close obviously enjoying it. Melody had been drinking for much longer than I had imagined, I gently removed my boob from her mouth and did my bra back up. However she began crying, trying to get my boob back, putting her hand down my shirt, pulling my shirt and trying to grab.
"Ssh baby it's ok, mommy will feed you again later I promise." I rocked her side to side
"Mama" she cried getting more worked up putting her hand down my shirt
"No baby don't do that" I removed her hand and kissed her forehead
"Mommy!"
"I'm right here baby, I'm right here" I managed to calm her down and then decided to read her a book. I grabbed The Very Hungry Caterpillar and began reading. She giggled from time to time until she fell asleep snuggled into me, her head snuggled into my boobs.
