"Yes we are living and dying at the same time, but right now it's alright to open your eyes, because like any movie, like any dialogue, the whole world is blue under the moonlight." -4 o'clock (RM and V)

(Y/N P.O.V)

You curl yourself tighter into a ball and hug your knees tight to your chest to capture any semblance of warmth as thick curtains of rain fall around you. You whimper as a strong gust of wind blows, driving sharp, freezing knives of cold deep into your bones. The chilly ache spreads through your body, forcing tears to flow down your slim cheeks. You sigh quietly wishing, not for the first time, that you had your vision so you could leave your alley to stumble along the sidewalks in search of shelter from the storm. Despite being blind, you usually feel your way around Seoul and do your best constantly move from alley to alley, never staying in one place for long out of fear of muggers, or rapists, or anyone else who committed crime on the busy city streets. You had just moved into this alley a few hours ago and were too unfamiliar with the area around you to leave. You didn't have any shelter because of it, and having no personal possessions you definitely didn't have a phone to tell you it would storm tonight. Thus, you were stuck in this predicament.

You sigh, uncurling yourself slightly as you felt the scratchy brick wall behind you and begin to stagger to your feet. You get a sudden head rush from lack of food, and lean against the wall for support. Come on Y/N, get a grip on yourself. You know how to feel your way around an unfamiliar city. You know you have to go find shelter for the night. You'll catch a fever and die in this storm. On second thought, that doesn't sound so bad, you think to yourself. Sighing again you brace yourself and stand up, only to wish you hadn't. You hear the shuffling of footsteps from the entrance to your alley several meters away from you. Unbeknownst to you, there stands the tall, shadowy figure of a man.

Your eyes widen comically as you stare at where you think there is a silhouette standing between the two brick walls that closed you off from the street. You do your best to hold back a terrified whimper because you know that even if you can't see him, he can see you, all thanks to the light that hangs from the backdoor to a closed down restaurant. You try to press yourself further into the wall in a futile attempt to make yourself disappear from his view, but it's too late.

"Hey!" A slightly boyish voice yells out. You strain one of your long, calico Holland Lop bunny ears to listen closely and you hear the figure take a small step towards you. You let out a soft cry of fear as your ears flatten against your head and your whole body begins to shake.

"Hey, who's down there?" The voice calls again, "I won't hurt you, I swear!" You don't know who this man is. He might be a rapist, although you don't know who would possibly want to rape someone in the heavy rain. Shaking off your own thoughts you desperately scratch your hands at the wall behind you as you hear the man take a second step closer.

"My name is Jungkook. I want to help you," His voice sounds soothing to your ears, but your fear refuses to let you calm down even slightly. The man named Jungkook takes a third long stride forward. As he does, you catch an alluring scent radiating off of the man's body in waves. You had been too caught up in fear to even realize it before now, but now that you can smell it, it's all you can focus on. Until you feel a large hand lightly touch your shoulder.

You let out a shriek of pure terror and shrink into a ball on the ground. You curl into a fetal position, knowing that you are defenseless against the man before you. You whimper and cry softly, not knowing what your fate will be. You're surprised, though, when the man speaks softly and doesn't advance towards you any more.

"Don't be scared, sweetie. I already said I won't hurt you. I could never dream of hurting one of my mates," Two things about Jungkook's sentence throw you off. He called you his mate. It's then that you then understand what the captivating scent coming from him is. It's because we're mates, you think to yourself.

The second think you noticed was, "O-One of your mates?" Your voice comes out small and shaky, but he still seems to hear it.

"Yeah sweetie, we have six more at home," He says, and if you weren't still terrified for your life, you would hear the wide, proud smile in his voice. Your heart feels like it's going to pound out of it's chest at the new information he's thrown at you. You don't know how to react. Thankfully you don't have to yet because Jungkook speaks again.

"Can you grab my hand, sweetie?" He asks calmly as rain pours around you two, "I won't hurt you, I promise. I'll take you home to meet our other mates. You can't stay here in the storm, you'll catch your death and I definitely don't want that."

"I-" you start quietly, stuttering slightly, "I can't," you say quietly.

"You can't do what?" Jungkook questions, you can hear an emotion in his voice that you can't quite name. Maybe fear, except you can't possible imagine what he's scared of. It's you who is scared right now.

"Neither. I can't see you. I don't know where your hand is.  And I can't go home with you. You could still be a rapist for all I know, even if you really are my mate," you tell him, clasping your hands together tightly until you are sure your knuckles are white.

There's a moment of what you are sure is shocked silence before you hear a resigned sigh leave Jungkook's lips. "I guess I'll just have to grab your hand and stay here with you then."

You feel a warm body slide down the brick wall next to you, and you are suddenly shielded from the rain by what you are guessing is an umbrella. You then feel a warm hand grab your right one, sending sparks shooting up your arm. Your eyes widen at the two gestures of kindness as warmth spreads through your chest, touching your heart. Before you know it you are sobbing in an alley next to an unfamiliar man in the pouring rain.

Sorry for this first chapter being horrible! I've never written anything from a second person point of view, so this is actually really hard. Also, I am an extremely descriptive author and not being able to write things such as "your brown eyes" or "your curly brunette hair" is extremely challenging! Just bear with me, okay?
