Red

Bad End Two: Betrayal

We were walking towards the dark cave, it was pitch black. You could barely see a thing, but after we walked some more, the was began glowing with red.

"I think it would be better if you all stayed here..."

Fukami, Memoca, and Dolphi all waited with smiling faces. Even Fukami, oddly enough. It was a nice surprise though. I haven't seen his smile in a while.

Except......he looked too comfortable....

.....oh well. I wouldn't question my own familiar.

I continued forward without them, they would be able to last a few minutes by themselves, or at least I hope they can.

I start walking forward, but my self conscious is yelling at me to go go back to the others.

"It's just because of this place....nothing bad is gonna happen..."

I continue walking because nothing bad is happening, I reassure myself plenty of times.

Eventually I got lost, so I knew it was probably for the best to go back. While I was walking, I heard a strange noise....kind of like screaming. I'm sure it wasn't, though. It couldn't be.

I finally got back to where the others were and gasped in horror. I looked around and I saw blood everywhere. Memoca looked mortified so I walked over to her. When I got closer, I saw blood on her face and her eyes were gouged out. I felt like I was going to throw up. She was dead....

And then....I saw Dolphi....

Her body was laying on the ground, in a pool of blood. Her head though...was elsewhere. Separated. It made me sick....I was so shocked that I couldn't say a word...

Fukami walked behind me and startled me whilst doing it.

"Fukami...are you alright....what...what happened? Did someone do this.....??"

He got a little closer, grinning. I noticed his eyes had become a different shape and color. Red.

"Oh, Wadanohara. I'm so sorry you had to walk into this...."

He paused just long enough to send chills up my spine.

"Fukami.......did you do this....?"

"...yes. I did, Wadanohara. Now, this is one of my little secrets. Secrets have to be kept."

He walked towards me and grabbed me by the neck with one of his tentacles, making me choke horrendously.

"It hurts... It H. It h-urts!!!!......!!!!"

He grinned wider now, letting out a chuckle that made me want to cry.

"Wadanohara.....waaaaaaadanohara........I love you....."

"Fukami.....you were the t-traitor....s-Samekichi was-nt....?"

"Yes Wadanohara. I was."

He tightened his grip.

".....I always knew"

And that was the last thing he said before he delivered the life-ending snap of my neck.
