Stringed Up {BNHA x Male Reader}

Chapter 6

"ALL RIGHT LET'S SEE WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF, YOU EMBRYOS!! IT'S TIME FOR THE TRIAL OF BATTLE!!!"

We all started to talk to each other about our costumes.

A hand falls on my shoulder "Cool costume detective [L/N]." I look over and it's Krishima standing with a blonde kid with a black lightning mark on in his hair.

"Yeah stands out but it does look cool. I'm Denki Kaminari" The blonde spoke up.

Slightly blushing at their comment I complimented their costumes just before All Might began explaining the lesson.

"BATTLE PARTNERS WILL BE DECIDED BY DRAWING LOTS!" he picked up a box.

He started listing off the teams and I was paired with Momo Yaoyorozu.

"[L/N]?" a girl asked whilst walking up to me. I nodded as a response "I'm Yaoyorozu. We're going to be a team today"

The first teams two teams which were Midoriya with Uraraka against Bakugo and Iida. All Might led us to the monitor room to watch the battle. I quietly followed behind Momo.

"So we should come up with some sort of plan. Considering we don't know if we're villains or heroes. Let's start with our quirks."

"Well mine is...strings. It allows me to create strings anywhere I want and move them freely" I played with my hands nervously as I spoke.

"My one is Creation. I can make anything inorganic as long as I know the chemical makeup of it. That's why the chemistry book" She smiles showing the book.

After the first battle and Momo's explanation of how everyone there did my anxiety about this tripled. I hope she doesn't expect too much from me.

After a couple battles it's finally our turn. We were picked to be the villains against Kyoka Jiro and Kaminari.

Momo came up with a plan to set up a trap for the other team.

I set up multiple strings around the bomb room as Momo went out to attack them head on.

We had a comm set up. "I see them" I heard momo from the other end. Then the sounds of fighting broke out.

"Jiro ran off. Gua-" the device broke off. Assuming Momo was overwhelmed and was captured I hid in the room. The headache slowly kicking in but I created more strings around the room.

The door to the room opened and I peeked around only seeing Jiro. I've bound her with the strings capturing her. She tried to break the strings using her earphone jacks to no avail.

I heard steps behind me. Before I could turn around I made a string attach to their leg but a hand grabbed me. I felt a strong shock through my body and I lost consciousness.

I wake up in the monitoring room with some old woman, Kaminari, and Momo standing over me.

"He's fine now. Just don't shock him again" She says whilst looking at Kaminari. She then walks off.

I sit up holding my head and looking between Momo and Kaminari "What even happened?"

Denki helps me up "Well I shocked you a bit more than intended since something grabbed my leg. Sorry about that dude." He smiled apologetically.

"I-It was supposed to be a b-battle, don't w-worry about it". I look to Momo "A-apologies for failing there.."

She smiled reassuringly and said not to worry about it. Denki walked off to watch the last of the battles as me and Momo discussed how we could've done better. Luckily for me she didn't seem that disappointed with the results of the battle.

After the last battle All Might congratulated us on our performance. He then ran off leaving us behind. Obviously he was in quite a hurry.

We all got changed back into our normal school uniforms and returned to class.

There was no teacher until the end of school so I spend my time talking to Kaminari, and Krishima.

After the final bell Midoriya came in and everyone seemed to applaud him for the amazing performance in the first match. After all that he just asked where Bakugo went. They told him he left and said not to go after him. He was surprisingly quiet after we returned to class.

After talking some more. It was finally time to head back home.

After returning to a once again empty home I made myself a dinner and decided to go to sleep earlier than usual.

Next day I walked out to school early. I was wondering how exactly we did assuming Aizawa Sensei was informed of the lesson..

As I got closer I noticed a massive crowd standing in front of the school.

I tried to get through the crowd who seemed like some sort of reporters or something. As I was walking through they stopped me and started asking all sorts of questions about All Might.

I opened my mouth to say I have to get past but I just froze with no words coming out. I couldn't move and was stuck bombarded with questions.
