Simon turns on his phone and notices a lot of messages from David, he realizes that he didn't show up at the party David had prepared for him last night, and he feels really sorry for this.

"I think I gotta go, Amanda. I need to see my friend, David"
Simon said.
"Oh, so I'll leave too."
Amanda replied.
"No, just stay here. You have no where to go Amanda. I'll be back soon, make yourself at home."
He smiles at her and rushes out, then quickly calls David to set a meet at a nearby coffee shop.

"Explain Simon."
David huffs as soon as Simon gets to the table.
"First, I'm sorry, David. Sorry for not showing up."
"An apology is not enough Simon! I prepared all things and you didn't come, you didn't even reply my text!"
David murmurs.

"I don't know how to tell you David... There were reasons why I didn't come..."
Simon said.
"What reason? The reason which is more important than me?"
"I met someone."
Simon finally blurts out. David seems confusingly so Simon continues.

"The first time I met that woman, I fell for her. She's always been the reason kept me staying here. And last night, when I was about to leave, she showed up in front of me, heart-broken. I can't hold myself, and you know, it just happened."
David raises his eyebrowns, then he tries to say something, but David can't figure out how to reply this.

"So, you slept with that woman last night?"
David finally managed to say something.
"I did."
Simon replied.
"Ok, I'm actually pretty shocked to hear this. When did you two first meet?"
"Maybe few months ago. We somehow kept seeing each other by accident. And well, I guess we both have special felling for each other, more than two friends."
Simon sighed.
"That's such a wonderful story Simon. But hold on, you've already had Lauren, and Eric. How can this happen?"
David said sarcastically.
"You know that was just an accident, you know I don't love her that much."
"Of course. But since you guys have a son together, everything is different. You should be responsible for what you've done, and for Eric."
David huffed. Simon doesn't reply, he sighs and takes a sip of coffee.
"What about her?"
David asked.
"She's already been married."
"Great! What else are you gonna do now Simon? Marry her?"
Davis shows his anger.
"I know you're upset David. His husband cheated on her, she's not happy with her marriage."
Simon answered.

"So what are you gonna do?"

"No idea. But I can be sure I'll never let her stay with that man again. He only hurts her... You once told me that you know a really good lawyer, don'you?"

"Yah, Louis Litt. He used to help me get out of some law suits."
David murmured.
"Can you give me his phone number? Just in case, I want Amanda to have all her rights when it comes to go on court."
Simon said with confidence. David knows there's no way he could stop his friend, since Simon is now completely into Amanda, and he knows Simon has never be like this before. David takes out a phone card and gives to Simon.

"Litt's number. Do whatever you feel right, Simon. Because I'm your friend, I'll believe in your choice."
"Thanks David... Moreover, I won't be back to LA, at least not this week. Please help me tell Lauren I will call off my plane, I don't think I have enough courage to tell her truth right now."
Simon sighed, David lays his hand on Simon's back to comfort.
"I'll do my best."

Amanda has been wandering around Simon's room for hours. There's nothing special. A small kitchen in the corner, a table, a shelf with some books on it and a single bed, where they have spent all night together.
The room is quite a mess after last night so Amanda decides to tidy it. While she is cleaning the coffee table, Amanda notices a plane ticket, below her biography.

"Hey, I'm back."
Simon smiled as he entered the room.

"I told you that it won't take long, sorry for let you waiting Amanda. Oh, you musn't eat anything so I bought some sandwiches on the way back."

Simon continues and shows the pack of sandwiches. Amanda doesn't reply him, her hand grips on the ticket and she drops her gaze to the floor.
"Amanda, what's wrong?"
Simon asked.
"I was trying to do some clean up while you're away, and I found this."
Amanda murmured as she shows the ticket to Simon.

"Amanda, I need to explain."
"Explain what? You're leaving..."
"Listen to me Amanda, just listen."
Simon says as he grips her waist tightly. Amanda drops her gaze to the floor in an attempt to avoid his fixed look , but still looking forward to an answer.
"When you came, I was about to leave. I actually should have left months ago. But you know what, I couldn't. Cause everytime I thought there's nothing left to hold me in this city, you arrived. And that's the only reason keeps me staying."
Simon said while his hands take the plane ticket from hers and then tear it into pieces.
"I'm here with you now."
Simon whispers as he moves closer to her, places his hand on her face. Amanda looses her body a bit, she closes her eyes as Simon's lips reach for her forehead. She puts her arms around his body and embraces him tightly.
"Thank you, for everything Simon."
