For over a decade,
Electronic Arts
Merged with several small game studios
The Sims spawned from Maxis
And Playfish gave us pets
Even Black Box had some things to show
EA is a big thing
Costs had to be cut down
They would sometimes stoop a low
Just about fourteen
Studios are defunct
And all out of service
They were shut down by EA
Workers mourn in tears
We will never forget them
And their games we played with our peers
From Westwood to Phenomic
From Headgate to Visceral
They were all closed down by EA
May we play some of their games here
Remember NBA Street,
The game from NuFX?
And Dungeon Keeper from Bullfrog?
We know that Pandemic
Made Star Wars: Battlefront
Victory Games did not last so long
I hope the acquisitions
Still going strong right now
In EA's huge spider web...
...will keep on going
While us players are knowing
The ones that sadly died
They were shut down by EA
Players mourn in tears
We will never forget them
And their games we played with our peers
From DreamWorks Interactive
To Mythic to Origin
They were all closed down by EA
