"Here we are, senior year," Caroline says non excitedly.

"Anyone else think it should be more empowering?" Bonnie asks.

"After everything that I've learned, I don't think so," Kendra sighs.

"Ok, so prank night was a bust," Caroline says. "But we are accepting it, and we are moving on," She explains.

"You're right. I mean, why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his dead girlfriend hinder this experience," Kendra says, and rolls her eyes.

"Yes! And why should I let the fact that my boyfriend and best friend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day," Caroline says.

"It's not my fault," Kendra whispers. Caroline gives her a sympathetic smile.

"Isn't Onika supposed to be here?" Elena asks.

"She will be tomorrow. She had to go back to her old state, since she was missing some things," Kendra explains. Elena stops walking.

"Today's our anniversary," Elena says in a sad voice. They all stop walking, and turn around to look at Elena. "Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year," Elena explains.

"Yeah, you win," Caroline says.

"Are you sure you want to be here?" Bonnie asks concerned.

"I have to be here, I have to put it behind me," Elena says. "New year, new life."

"You can do that if you just have sex with Damon," Kendra says. Caroline slaps Kendra on the arm. Elena gives her a glare. "Sorry," She mumbles.

"So what? It's not cool to talk to juniors anymore?" Jeremy asks with a smile.

"Hey, happy first day? Right?" Kendra rolls her eyes.

"You mad?" Jeremy asks.

"Well, I'm not mad I'm just resigned to the fact that I'm sharing space in our relationship with Anna and Vicki. You also lied to me about what I am, and about everything else," Kendra says with a sarcastic smile.

"I haven't talk to Vicki in a while. I didn't mean to lie to you, I just wanted to protect you," He explains.

"That's not the point, Jeremy," Kendra sighs.

"I know that, I know. Okay?" Jeremy says. "But I had  see Anna again, Kendra. She had information that Damon needed," Jeremy continues.

"I get it, Jermey, but put yourself in my shoes," Kendra explains. "You loved both of them, and you guys didn't break up," She says with a slight frown. "They died, and you keep letting them back in," Kendra explains.

"You think I want any of this?" Jeremy says.

"I think that you have the power whether or not to see them," Kendra states. "Also, lying to me about everything, it hurts Jer, it hurts a lot," She frowns, and walks away.

"Hello?" Kendra picks up her phone.

"Hey, so I heard everything that has happened. How are you holding up?" Damon asks.

"Oh, I'm just peachy, Damon! I found out I'm a werewolf, learned that other things exist, and now I'm a freaking hybrid! It's great!" She says sarcastically.
