Chapter 1 - Goodbye

Sofia's POV
I woke up with a raging headache. This seems to keep happening every morning. When my head calms down a little i get up and go to the bathroom. I look in the mirror a person I can't even recognize looking back at me. Messy hair, smeared mascara and eye bags the size or mountains. I turn the shower on and hop in, immediately feeling the cold water wash away the previous night.

I had spent the night at a party. I had finished a big show and there was a huge after party at some rich guys house. Let's just say I drank a lot more than I would have liked.

After my shower I laid in bed watching criminal minds, my god isn't Reid hot. After watching about 3 episodes I get a text from my best friend.

Lili
hey fi can you you pick me up in 15. I need to talk.
Me
yes ofcoarse.

I quickly got dressed and got in my car. Payton following me out the front door.
"Fi, Can we talk?"
"Yea. Sure, What's up?"
"Wanna come on route with me? there's room for one more person."
"Can we talk about this later." I say as more of a statement. I close my car door and I'm on my way to Lili's.

"Hey fi" Lili says getting in the car.
"What's up Lil?"
"Im going to Yale" She says not meeting my gaze.
"That's amazing!" I say. Lili has always been the smartest person I know. She was always great at school and worked really hard.

"No Fi. I have to leave tomorrow." She says finally meeting my eyes. Her eyes were bloodshot and full of tears.

We spent the next hour crying and talking about how we would be friends forever, but we didn't really know if that was even true.

"Payton asked me to go on tour with him" I say with an eye roll.
"You have to go" She says excitedly and I'm immediately confused. "It'll be good for you, to travel and meet new people."
"I don't know Lily" I say, "It might be aw-"
"No you're going it's already been decided"

After dropping Lili off I get home and try to find Payton.

"PAYTON"

"PAYTON" I yell.

"WHAT FI?" He says coming out of his room annoyed.
"I'm coming on tour with you" I say and his annoyed looked immediately changes to happy.
"Great" He says hugging me, "We're leaving in 2 days. We'll be gone all summer pack as much as you need"

This is going to be great.

The next day I said a very tear filled goodbye to Lili.  I packed what I would need. Payton and I went to target to get a few last minute necessities.

Finally it was leaving day. I looked through my luggage to make sure I had what I needed. I looked like a crazy person. I think I unpacked and repacked my luggage like 10 times. When I was finally done I brought my suitcases down to the car. I would be driving us to the airport and leaving my car there til we got back.

"Ready to go Payton?" I ask standing by the car as he walks out of the house.
"Yup" He says loading up his luggage.
"Bye mom, I love you" I say hugging my mother.
When I pulled away from the hug she was crying.
"Come on ma, it'll be ok. We'll call you every night."
Payton says bye to our mom and we get in the car.

About 15 minutes into the ride Payton looks up at me, his leg bouncing up and down.
"What's up Pay?"
"We'll I know I haven't told you, but I have a girlfriend. And she will be on tour with us" He says.
"Oh. Why didn't you tell me? What's her name?" I say shocked.
"Well it was relatively new and her name is Avani."
"We'll good for you" I say focusing back on the road.

We arrived at the airport 30 minutes later. After going through all the necessary procedures and board our flight.

The flight landed a little bumpy but we were now in L.A.. Payton says one of his friends would pick us up from the airport. We got of the plane and Payton called whoever was picking us up.
"There he is!" He says pointing towards like 40 people.
He runs up to a boy, dark curly hair, taller than Payton but only by a few inches, and hugs him.
"Hey Jaden. How've you been?"
"Good, it's pretty hot in L.A." He says and then looks at me. "Hi, you must be Payton's sister. I'm Jaden."
"Hi, Im Sofia. Nice to meet you" I say alittle flustered. We'll that was awkward.

We follow Jaden to his car, him and Payton talking about the tour. When we got in the car I wa sin the back, so I just stared out the window listening to music.
"Fi, hello Earth to Sofia" Payton says waving his hand in my face. I pull my earbuds out and look at him confused.
"You, Jaden and Anthony are gonna be sharing a room at the first hotel. Is that ok?" He says.
"Yea as long as they don't mind." I say not to happy about sharing a room with two guys I just meet but what can you do.

"We're here" Haden says as we pull into the hotel parking lot. We all get out and grab out stuff.
When we walk into the lobby I notice a group of girls staring and whispering.
"JADEN HOSSLER"
"OMG PAYTON"
"HI GUYS"
Payton and Jaden turn their attention to the girls and wave. After Jaden checks us into our rooms we head into the elevator.
"I'm on the second floor and you guys are on the third floor" Payton says pressing the number 2 and 3 buttons. Soon he gets off and leaves me and Jaden in an awkward silence.
"So, Sofia what do you do?" Jaden says.
"Uhm I'm a model. I've only done a few shows. What about you?" I ask looking at him.
"Im a tiktoker" He says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Ofcoarse, wow I'm an idiot. But that's cool" I say psychologically slapping myself in the head. The elevator door opens and we start to walk to the room.

This trip is going to be weird.

A/n: I've decided to rewrite each chapter. I began this story in 2019 and my writing skills were pretty shit.
