Part 2

Honestly, I knew it was gonna be awkward. I mean no one really knew I existed before I became friends with them. But it doesn't matter now that I'm part of the party.

Everyone seems to have a role here, then there is me, the one who's always left out. "Mia you just wouldn't understand." "Yeah this is intense stuff." Dustin and Lucas made up many many excuses. But mike seems to think that I'm ready.

"Guys. Maybe we should let her go this time." I get super excited, "Really?" Mike nods, "Yep and guess where we are going?" He says enthusiastically, "Uh-" he cuts me off, "Starcourt mall." I'm confused, "Now for the bike situation, Dustin and Suzie on one, Lucas and Max on one, Me and El on one.... and." Crap

"Will And Mia on one." I knew it. Will looks at me then grabs his bike, "I'm guessing mike did this on purpose." I hopped on the back. "Maybe." A couple minutes pass and we finally made it to the mall.

The boys started walking to scoops. Even the girls followed. But Will stayed with me, "We have to stay here for a couple of seconds." I nodded. Then he took my hand and we ran to scoops. Steve let us through the back.

"Cmon. The elevator hang out thing is here." Dustin stopped at the door and started going through the rules. I didn't really listen since I didn't think I could do anything bad.

We went in and I sat in a chair inside. Will sat on the arm of the chair. Suzie wasn't thinking, "Dusty-bun? What does this do?" She pushes a button and I felt us all jolt down, "Shoot! Suzie!" Max yelled over everyone's screams.

Without even thinking I held onto Will, I didn't realize until he pulled my head closer to his chest muffling my screams. I noticed that we stopped. Dustin climbed out of the top and looked up, "Jesus." We could hear him.

He wasn't mad at suzie like the rest of us were. He held her shoulders and tried to get her to shut up. She was rambling on and on about how she's not a good listener and clumsy blah blah blah.

I'm looking at them with furrowed eyebrows. Will moved my face back so I wasn't looking at them, "It's ok. We will get out." Everyone cleaned up the place and and I sat against a wall thinking about why Will held me so close.

Will came over to me and sat down, "Will?" He looked at me smiling, "Hm?" I looked around anxiously then said, "About the snowball. I Uh-" he cut me off, "You can't go?" I shook my head, "No I can go. It's just. Why me Will?" He shrugged and mumbled something under his breath, Mike and Lucas heard it but I couldn't, "OoOOOoO!"

He smacked their arms, "Shut up!" We all felt it going up. We saw El holding her arms up and she had a bloody nose, everyone thought she lost her powers but she still kept going. We made it more then halfway up, but then El passed out. Mike and Max ran over to help her.

I wanted to show what I could do but I was afraid they would be scared. So I simply climbed to the top and looked over the edge to the bottom, then I looked at the top. I focused a bit and was able to make the clasps on the strings disappear so we jerked up. I fell to the ground.

Suddenly I felt arms around me. Will? "Oh hey Byers." He just screamed while we went up. When the elevator made it up we saw Steve with his arms folded, everyone pointed to Suzie. She shrugged.

We all got ice cream while we calmed down. Even though it was winter. Everyone was talking about the snowball and Will and I looked at each other a couple times. This is gonna be fun..
