chapter III Felix

"Oh shit. Guys I don't think any of those guys like Micah." Neveah said. "Stopping holding hands."

"What why?" Micah asked grasping mine tighter. "It's comforting him."

"Yeah well its not comforting me." Rob said. "Let go."

Micah reluctantly did as told not before squeezing it one last time.

"I'll protect you as much as I can but like I said before. I can't win against them. Not if there bringing there entire family. Not if the rest of them are as big as they are." Rob admitted. "I didn't kill him and if a gun wont then nothing will."

"You're right. Normal guns cant kill us. You wont even be able to defeat Elijah as he now. Even if he's handicapped. You're a smart man to admit defeat. Maybe Mr. Dooley will let you live if you give up. But I cant guarantee it. You aimed for Elijah's heart and missed by inches but it didn't phase him one bit." The doctor said crossing her arms. "You cant even defeat me." She said grabbing him by the throat.

My eyes widened along with Micahs. We were aware of how disliked he was at the moment.

"Tell me why aim for Elijah if you know the gun wont kill him? Even if you did hit his heart." She squeezed harder lifting him off the ground like he was paper.

"Let him go Jess." I heard Jaxson say as he and Elijah walked over here.

Micah hid behind me terrified. I shielded him. I wasn't going to let him get hurt.

"Fine." she reluctantly let go but glared as he hungrily took in deep breaths. In all my life I've never seen him look so vulnerable like he was now. He was a toddler compared to these people.

Guess all good things come to an end.

"Does that mean we're all fired? We have no where to go. He took us all in." I mumbled looking in between Elijah and the doctor named Jess.

"What do we do Jax? We cant let these people go around homeless." Elijah asked turning to him.

"Let em stay where they are. I'm not changing the way things work around here. We will need this place to hide and get the stuff that only they can provide." Jaxson said with authority.

Yeah nope this definitely wasn't that shy and bullied kid I saw at school.

"Let's make this a safety and peaceful ground everyone can come to. Everyone except Black waters can come. My dad will have to notify them tomorrow. In the mean time lets put up more security. Get this place well hidden. I don't want anyone that is authorized with the law finding this. I don't want anymore dead bodies." Jaxson said. "Mason take Jay, Ezra, Daniel, Michael, and Lucas to run around the perimeter and hide this place. From everyone except the people here now."

"What's going on?" I asked. No one was brave enough to talk. I was because Elijah has said over and over that I was his. He even risked his life for mine.

"Your marked." Jess the doctor said taking a whiff just as Jason had earlier. I flinched. "Elijah did you mark him?"

"No. Just made love to him for six hours." The way he worded that made me blush a thousand shades of red.

"Awww..." A girl with deep brown eyes said coming up with two more and another guy following.

"That guy behind Felix is mine." The guy said looking at Micah. Micah's eyes widened and clung to the back of my shirt. I held my hand out in a protective manner. "He better not be your boyfriend because if he is he's mine now."

"Hang on Ash. He told me specifically that they weren't lovers. He just has a deep bond with Felix here." Elijah reassured standing in front of me. "Besides you hurt Felix you deal with me. I was ready to take on Jax right after the death fight with Jason. So you wont win this one." He threatened.
