Three weeks in the Philippines
Made me aware of things
I must get back to work soon
My budget is drenching
I have a week to set things
Before my flight take place.
I was busy in thought one morning
When someone knocked at my door
I looked at the clock and it was early
My kids are still in school.
My father was at my brother house.
I opened the door and I almost fainted
When I saw the familiar white face
That I kept fantasizing in my dreams.
Was it real or am I daydreaming
He stared steadily with motionless face
Before I could say anything he went inside
And took me in his arms
He hugged me so tight that I couldn't almost breathe
Then he looked at me with questioning eyes.
"What are you doing here?" I finally asked
"You didn't you tell me you're leaving. Why?'
I didn't answer his questions
I became aware of his presence
My kids are not ready to meet him
And I am not prepared to tell them.
But before I could say anything
He was already hugging me
With his hand inside my dress
Caressing my bare breast
If my yearnings blast
I could have took him in my bed
But asked him to leave..
He understood my dread
He said he just arrived last night
And presently staying in a hotel
He will wait for me in his room
Before he left, he kissed me passionately
And longingly, part of me was so glad
Suddenly I became so alive
And I couldn't wait to be in his arms...
