Love You - Scomiche

*Scott's POV*

Although our fans don't see it, "Scomiche" isn't the perfect relationship. We fight like crazy. Maybe it's because we've been so close for so long. Maybe it's because we are together 24/7. Or maybe we're just dumb.

It's honestly probably the dumb thing because that's what our fights are- dumb. We fight over the little things, like the other day:

"I've had so much fun today. It was definitely needed," I smiled at Mitch.

"I totally agree." Mitch answered, laying down next to me.

"I love you, Mitch"

"Love you too." he replied.

"Seriously? You know how much I hate that." I said, staring over at Mitch.

"Sorry, not to be rude, but I don't see the difference between 'love you' and 'I love you.' I'm obviously the one saying it, why do I have to say 'I'?"

"I don't know, Mitch. It's just something I've always believed in. Why is it so hard? I feel like 'love you' sounds like you can't be bothered to say it all. I sound dumb, I know. Ugh!" The more I spoke the more frustrated I got. Laying in bed with the person I'm fighting with made it even worse. I started to get up, but was stopped when I felt Mitch's soft hand grab my bicep.

I looked over at him and could see the tears in his eyes. Before I had a chance to say anything, he had connected our lips in a kiss filled with mostly love, with a hint of lust. Mitch broke the kiss to talk, but stayed close enough I could feel his breath on my lips.

"I'm sorry. I don't even know why we're fighting. If you prefer me to say 'I love you' then I will. I'm tired of fighting. I love you. I love you. I love you."

He probably would have continued, but I shut him up with a kiss.

Looking back on it now, I realize why we fight. It's not because we're too close. It's not because we're constantly with each other. It's not because we're dumb. It's because we love each other. We love each other so much that we get upset by upsetting the other person. It might not make sense to you, but it makes sense to me.

I prefer "I love you" and Mitch prefers to keep his facial hair. We both have different opinions on some things, but we can agree on one thing: no matter how much we fight, at the end of the day, we both love the cuddle make-up sessions the fights bring.
