At home the next day, Stefan and I were outside on the porch.
Stefan stood in the wrap-around driveway, fixing his motorcycle.
Damon opened toe door. "Good day for a midlife crisis. 164 year, I'd say you're due."
Stefan sat on the motorcycle. "Elena's transition to vampire has been a little depressing."
"A little?" I repeated.
Stefan gave me a look. "I'm gonna help her have some fun."
"Oh," I said. "Those who can't do, teach."
Damon smirked, not saying a word, walking onto the porch.
"Ah, I see we're still fighting," Stefan told him. "Got it."
I looked at Damon. "Where are you going?"
"That hunter jacked Tyler Lockwood of his werewolf venom last night, so basically, he's got vampire poison in a bottle," Damon told us. "And I'm gonna find him, and I'm gonna eat him."
Stefan stood up. "We'll go with you."
"Kaylin's help, I'll accept," Damon told him. "You? I don't want your help. I just want to kill this guy and get the hell out of town." I raised my eyebrows at him. "Wasn't that the deal? Whoever Elena doesn't choose, leaves."
"That was before she turned," Stefan told him.
"And I stayed to help," Damon told him. "If I take you punching me as the first clue, I'm not wanted here anymore."
"Listen, you blood shared with my girlfriend and I punched you in the face," Stefan told him. "You deserved it."
"Why don't you stop being dramatic?" I asked.
"You're seriously gonna tell me to stop being dramatic?" Damon asked. I smiled, tilting my head. "And, sister, dramatic would be leaving before I kill this hunter."
Damon walked away, leaving.
Stefan and I exchanged a look.
I sighed an annoyed, exasperated sigh.
Stefan shook his head.

Damon had went to Connor's trailer and had gotten booby trapped.
We were gonna use that booby trap against the guy who created it.
I called Tyler, because I knew that he would definitely want revenge against him.
It wasn't Tyler that answered. "Hello, love. Didn't expect you to be calling so soon after finding out I wasnt really dead."
"Get over yourself, Klaus. Where's Tyler?"
"Tyler's otherwise occupied making big decisions about honesty and what not. Is there anything I can do?"
"Damon and I are going after the vampire hunter, so if he'd like to join . . ."
"He wouldn't. I, however . . . "
"Well, I didn't ask you."
"Hmm. See you soon."

Meredith and Jeremy were luring Connor to where we were in the hospital.
