Lauren POV

I was already late to my first period on the first day of my senior year. But I didn't care. Ms. Sparks is one of my favorite teachers, she'd let me off the hook like she has done the last three years.

I walk down the quiet hallway, and I wince as I pass an old hallway with a painful memory. Lightly touching the back of my head, I can still feel that pain.

That damn Ally. I remember going home to clean my bloody nose up, and I swore I'd beat her ass when I saw her again the next day. But I never did. She never came back to school, she literally disappeared. A part of me remembered being worried because she was literally gone and no one knew where she went.

I was kinda sad, I didn't have anyone to pick on anymore. Not that she really deserved it, I kinda feel bad because I know I'd bully her every chance I got and I wish I hadn't.

I shake my head, to stop thinking about her. It was stupid. My mind went somewhere else and of course it always goes back to the same subject.

I was trying to change as a person after my long time girlfriend Camila really fucked me up. We dated for almost two years, until she started to cheat on me, repeatedly. So I broke up with her and I haven't really been ready to get in any other relationship with anyone else.

I sigh and go to my locker, and grab what I need for class. Walking in, I saw my best friends Normani and Dinah. I was so happy to have first period with them but I saw there was no seats near them. I look at who was next to Dinah and she had an empty seat next to her.

She was a blonde, a pretty one too. I didn't get a good look at her because she had her hair covering majority of her face. I try to pay attention to what Ms. Sparks was saying but then I hear a pencil drop and see that the girl next to me dropped it.

I reach for it but she does also, and that's when I felt it. A spark. I look at her pretty brown eyes and smile. I hand her the pencil and tell her, "I think you dropped this."

A/n hey guys👋🏽
