Becoming Brooke

During first period, Ms. Sparks had everyone get in groups. Since it was a friday, she decided she wanted to do something fun. She gave each group an funny word, and they had to draw what they thought it was. The girls got "Kerfuffle." 

Dinah and Lauren were in a heated discussion over what it was. Lauren thought it was a magical animal, and Dinah thought it was a german cuss word. 

"We are drawing a fluffy, goofy animal." 

"We are drawing two germans cussing at each other!" 

"How would you even draw a German Dinah?"

"I don't know, maybe you're a german that's why you're trying to distract me from drawing the truth!"

"Actually girls," Ms. Spark smiles, and puts a hand on their backs, "A Kerfuffle is what you two are doing right now."

"Arguing?" Ally guesses.

"Being annoying?" Normani adds.

Ms. Sparks giggles, "Miss Brooke was right, it's another word for commotion or a fuss."

"Time to draw Dinah and Lauren." Normani says, and begins to draw her friends. 

Ally's phone buzzes from a text.

Salice- Hey wyd tonight?

Looking at the text, Ally cringes. 

Ally- Going to a party.

Salice- C U there ;)

"Still talking to her?" Normani whispers to Ally. 

"Not really, but I don't want to be rude, she hasn't done anything to me." Ally whispers back. 

RIIIIIING

"That damn bell never gets old."

"Language Miss Hansen."

"Sorry Miss Sparks." 

The group of friends walk down the hallway together. Lauren and Ally were walking beside one another, and Lauren had a nasty habit of pushing Ally into passing hallways. "Lauren I swear to-" and there Ally went, pushing into the hallway. Laughing, Lauren pulls her back before she stomps away. "I'm only kidding, why would i want to push you away." 

Pouting, Ally huffs, "Sure."

"Aww come on, give me a smile or I won't let you go to class." Lauren held Ally tighter from behind, and Ally laughed as Lauren put her face into her neck, tickling her a bit. "Lauren stoop, I'm gonna be late." 

"Not until you smile for me." Turning Ally around, the two girls didn't realize they were the only two in the hallway.

"Okay fine." Ally smiles, and Lauren lets go. "K, you're free, I'll let you go." 

"What if I don't want you to let me go." Ally hooks their hands together, and Lauren smiles. "I'll see you at lunch, I promise." 

Walking away to her class, Ally finally forces herself to go to class. 

As she sits in her chair, Normani is humming. "So Brooke, you gonna come to my house after the party?"

Ally nods her head, "Yeah, who's gonna be there?"

Normani puts her hand on her child, "Hmmm Me, of course, Dinah, Lauren, You, maybe Tori, Cat and Jade...also-"

"Me." Salice finishes her sentence and sits behind Ally. "So Brooke, are you gonna share a sleeping bag with me, mami?" Ally blushes, and Normani notices. 

Normani laughs, "If I can't get freaky with my girl, then no body can get freaky with nobody, got it?" She warns, and Salice sits back in her seat, "Yeah whatever."
