Classic's apartment looked like on of those modern homes with the voice activation devices, Blackberry grew slightly envious as he watched Classic walk out of the car, he dearly hoped that there were more than one room, he didn't want to sleep on a couch and he wanted access to a lock.

"You live alone right?" Black hurried to follow Classic.

"Yeah my brother moved out a while ago so I currently live alone." Classic nodded. Blackberry took a risk, and even though he knew he shouldn't say anything he was too tired to stop himself.

"I'm... looking for a place, I feel like a bother for my brother and his boyfriend, but I haven't had the time to look..." And this was all true for Black, he knew he should've moved out months ago but between his job, food, and sleep he barely had the time.

"If you want you can move in with me? I know I'm a stranger but it's better than nothing." Classic shrugged seeing Black yawn again. He unlocked the door his apartment was larger than Black expected.

"Umm... do I pay rent? I don't think I can afford this..." Blackberry looked around, his eyes moved from the white leathery couch to the light gray wood floors. A baby blue carpet caught his attention as well as the blue scale of throw pillows. If this was where he had to sleep he definitely wouldn't have minded.

Classic shook his head "Again, I make enough money, I just need a friend around here." Blackberry would've interjected saying he wasn't Classic's friend, but he stopped himself he bit his lip.

"I'd feel like I'm using you..." Blackberry looked up at the modernistic chandelier "Like a... well damn..." Black resorted to a distraction rather than calling himself something like a harlot or a hussy.

He moved down to the carpet rubbing it feeling it's fuzz, which was surprisingly soft, Black cursed under his breath. He pushed his jealous rage down and looked at Classic as he cleared his throat as if he caught what Black would've said.

He shook his head and moved on "It's fine, I just hope you're ready to deal with depressed heap."

"Like I said earlier, it doesn't bug me as long as there is no knife to bone going on." Black stood and wandered a bit more glancing at the white cabinets and marble counters. He frowned looking away, he took a surprised step finding Classic right behind him

"No, none of that." Classic shook his head, smiling at his reaction. Black huffed softly.

"Good, I don't want to get in trouble." He muttered the last part. Black jolted as he found Classic's arms around him.

"What are you doing?" Black asked he didn't relax in them like Classic had hoped he would.

"You looked like you needed a hug." Classic smiled softly at him, Blackberry blushed and frowned more.

"You... umm..." Black looked at the ground his frowned almost turned to a scowl, it faded as quickly as it had appeared on his face. Classic slowly pulled away when it was clear Black wasn't going to hug back.

"I'm going to quit my job." Blackberry said suddenly, it was filled with determination.

Classic raised a bone brow. "Why?"

"My boss..." Black lied, he believed his real reason would be seen as immature and weak. "I've been holding back from doing it... because I needed the money."

He always wanted to be a royal guard of a queen, but his younger self ruined any chances of that and they weren't in that type of century, maybe a bodyguard instead? It was close enough.

Classic nodded, "I can help you find a different job, a better one."

Black looked up bewildered "You would? You know next t nothing about me."

"I mean you are going to be living with me, so I might as well, right?" Classic made that shoulder gesture that was starting to get on Blackberry's nerves.

"I suppose that's true..." Blackberry almost hoped that he would change his mind. "I need to take care of some legal things... so you might have to sign some things..." Blackberry gave Classic another chance to back out of this.

"That's okay." Classic snickered, Blackberry bit back his groan, he rubbed his hand over his face.

"I promise I'm not a handful... I was just a stupid teen." Black sighed giving in.

"You've outgrown it I assume." Classic smiled.

"I fucking hope so!" Blackberry chuckled weakly.

"Can I assume those stupid things are too personal?" Classic hummed as stupid smile on his face.

"Umm... in the morning-- well later... I need sleep." Blackberry definitely intended to tell Classic, at some point, he had to, but he was far too exhausted to actually get into it. Classic nodded and put a hand on Black's shoulder.

Blackberry jumped and looked at it, Classic moved it away and put it on the center of Black's back, this action seemed to get Black to relax more. He gently guided Black to the guest room, Papyrus' old bed room.

A mental wound that still stung to think about, Papyrus moved out... Classic still struggled to wrap his head around it. He gave his thoughts a mental shove.

"This is where you'll be staying." Classic nodded, the room was larger than Black's living room, and if Black was awake enough he would have admired it properly, instead he let out and exasperated coo.

Blackberry had the faint thought to call Honey and tell him where he was, but pushed it away as he walked into the room using a lot of his will to pick up his feet when he took his steps. He collapsed on the bed "Thank you." He said pulling his face out of the puffy orange comforter.

"No problem." Classic smiled he held his chuckle. "I'm gonna warn you now, I don't know how to cook too well so the kitchen is probably empty, I will take you to breakfast if need be."

"Mmm... what?" Black yawned, he was already fading.

"We're going to go to breakfast tomorrow." Classic repeated letting the chuckle escape finally.

Blackberry nodded "Okay..." Laying his head back down on the the memory foam pillows.

"Night" Classic backed out of the room.

Black slurred out his 'Good night' as a courtesy.

Classic finally slipped away to his own room retiring for the night as well.
